With us you get the personal know-how, & local insight, from Andrew (Owner/Guide) who started this business 4 years ago. Andrew grew up in the Okanagan and worked at his Grandparents Orchard in Oyama.

The tour starts at the historic Laurel Packinghouse, and winds its way through the stunning lakeside Cultural District. Soak in the picturesque Waterfront Boardwalk on Okanagan Lake, discover local art, secret gardens, waterfalls, & so much more!

Along the way we include 7 tantalizing tastes & 4 drink visits at authentic & unique local businesses (Adult Beverages, Non-Alcoholic, & Kids are all catered to). Come savour Downtown Kelowna!

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. The Laurel Packinghouse
This is where we meet outside to start the tour. Look for our sandwich board sign, and Andrew (tall ginger) standing out front.

We stop here to talk about some peculiar street art in Kelowna.
3. Waterfront Park
We walk through the stunning lakeside park and talk about its impact on Kelowna over the past 30 years.

Weekdays we go to the rooftop patio for some stunning pictures when the patio is open. April 15th-to-October 15th yearly our groups are able to see a 360 view of Downtown Kelowna.
5. Kasugai Japanese Garden
The hidden Kasugai Gardens are named after Kelowna's sister city in Japan. Stocked with Koi, waterfalls, Japanese sculptures, and impeccable gardens! Lots to see and learn here!

We show guests where the tourist centre is for any other needs they may need while here.

We stop to talk about the artist and how our boardwalk came to be.
8. Rotary Centre for the Arts
We tell guests all about this building that is the hub of Kelowna's Arts & Culture Scene!
9. The Stuart Park
Gorgeous lakeside park dedicated to a famous mayor. Here we will hear the story of the bear in Kelowna, and how our breathtaking boardwalk came to be.

Kelowna Yacht Club makes houss-made Gelato for us on every tour as we sit lakeside in an award winning building, with an even better view!

They had to shut the street down to get their GIANT apple shaped pizza oven from Italy inside! This place is as authentic as it gets. They cure meat in the front window, have an old Italian meat slicer, coffee maker, and use wood from local orchards for the fire. It's a can't miss stop with a hidden speakeasy, and an alcoholic drink to accompany your pizza.

A two story historic brick building is now the super unique BNA! The owner loves Northwest Canada, and The Tragically Hip. The place is full with its own brewery, 10 Pin Bowling Alley, Bocce Court, Vintage Arcade, Burger Bar, Airstream Trailer, and way more! One of our guests favourite stops!

Our hidden gem on tour! Often times we have to drag people out of this loose leaf tea house, as the aroma, vibes, and peacefulness takes over! A place you won't soon forget, and will likely be back over and over again! Like us :)

Sprout is a local family owned, & operated, Artisan Bakery. Situated inside the historic, & vibrant, Cultural District in Kelowna. Owners Pete & Ava opened the doors in August of 2018, three weeks later they were married & welcomed friends & family to celebrate in the newly finished bakery space. From there, there was no turning back! Sprout quickly grew into a community hub that brought people together & centered around one thing – good food & coffee. They offer a wide variety of food & baked goods! Sprout aims to showcase the incredible natural abundance of the Okanagan. While working with farmers & suppliers to bring local flavours to the community. All of the breads are made with certified organic flour. Among other health benefits, organic farming practises require thoughtful crop rotation and ensure greater bio-diversity for the land. When my guests visit they love being able to watch the bakers at work, the welcoming atmosphere, & of course the outstanding food & coffee!

Our high-end Italian-Korean fusion stop on tour is always a place our guests go back for lunch and dinner too! Chef Sung uses an open kitchen to show his cooking style in a cool and relaxed atmosphere! Be prepared to be wowed with smoke, flames, and first class service! My mom's favourite stop on tour :)

Izzy from Mexico brings his heritage to life at El Taquero with every dish! Always one of our guests favourite spots. Guests always rave about going back for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner!

Awesome tour! My husband, daughter and I thought this tour would be a fun way to learn about Kelowna - and it was. Out of everything we did in Kelowna, this was our favorite. Andrew is engaging and you can't help but like him. Come hungry and thirsty because the samples are varied, generous, and delicious.

Loved this. Andrew was a fabulous guide. Friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He brought Kelowna to life for us and the 7 tastes he had chosen for us were different and yet all fantastic. Wouldnt change a thing. My wife and I had a marvellous afternoon .

The tour was amazing! Definitely better if you do it the first day you are in Kelowna!! So many great places! Andrew has so much knowledge about the history of Kelowna and shares so many great stories! It was a great afternoon. I would totally recommend it to all!!!

We live in West Kelowna so don't go into Kelowna very often. The tour showcased many good, interesting restaurants that we were not familiar with but now are anxious to try again. The talk on the history of the downtown Kelowna was very interesting. The tour guide was excellent.

What a fabulous day out! Andrew was a wonderful guide who kept us enthralled with his stories around Kelowna. Food, history, a bit of politics, city development, hockey...... And so on.

The food stops were great with plenty of variety and enough for us not to need dinner that evening. The food quality was excellent.

I can't recommend Andrew and this tour enough.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of joining a walking food tour in Kelowna, hosted by Andrew. This experience was truly exceptional! Andrew's extensive knowledge and passion for the city brought Kelowna to life in a way that you could never achieve on your own as a tourist. He shared fascinating insights and stories that you won't find in any guidebook, making the tour both educational and entertaining.
