Drive our brand New, fully AC 4X4 Dacia Duster 2024! Visit to our local shepherd's farm, experience the local life, tastes & activities like the milking of the goat and many more! Cross the gardens, villages, pass by the dam of Aposelemis and the ancient Roman aqueduct. Enjoy a coffee stop in the traditional village of Kastamonitsa and then… Off road through the imposing ancient Minoan paths! Bumpy trails, rich nature and wildlife that will truly make you feel off-road! We continue all the way up to the most stunning panoramic viewpoint of the day at ~ 1200m. Driving through the Lasithi plateau and then.. Walk the traditional village of Krasi with the monumental plane tree over 2000 years old and then enjoy a tasty lunch! 1. Malia
Just before we start this unforgettable Self Drive Jeep tour experience, the Experts of our Jeep Safari will teach you everything about the vehicles, including lessons for beginners so that everyone is ready to discover Crete safely, with lots of fun and excitement!
2. Potamies
Starting from your hotel we head to “Potamies” an Authentic Cretan village. There we will make our first stop, in a local shepherd's farm where we will meet a local shepherd with his family and participate in his activities like the milking of the goat.
3. Aposelemis Dam
We pass by the dam of Aposelemis that is an impressive feat of engineering that has created a stunning lake with clear, blue waters.

We continue after the passage by the dam of Aposelemis to the ancient Roman aqueduct for a photostop on the ruins of this impressive wall!

Then enjoy a coffee stop in the traditional village of Kastamonitsa. Opt for a refreshing break in one of the traditional cafes of the village or take a leisurely stroll through its charming alleys!

It's time for the highest panoramic viewpoint of the day for the best photos! Photostop ~1200m. for the most impressive photo shooting with a breathtaking view! Dynamic Off-roading uphill on dirt roads through the ancient Minoan paths! Impressive mountains, wildlife, and unique views as if taken from another setting. That's a good opportunity to collect local herbs.

Then we continue through the Lasithi Plateau and after that, drive to one of the most representative villages of Crete, Krasi.
8. Platanus Tree
Next stop will be in the traditional village of Krasi, reaching the village square, one will see the three huge planees and Vryses dominate. Among them stands the largest and perennial plane tree aged over than 2000 years.
9. Malia
At the last stop of the day, savor a delicious BBQ feast. This is the perfect way to end a day of sightseeing and adventure in Crete and to relax and unwind with friends or family. Don't miss out on this delicious and satisfying meal!

If you are 6 or more people then more bookings than one have to be done. In the other hand if you are 4 people and you want 2 Jeeps then you have to do 2 bookings for 2 people otherwise you will be in 1 Jeep.

• Not allowed drinking/eating/smoking inside the vehicles

An excellent day with a friendly and knowledgeable guide driver. The vehicle was rather cramped in the very rear seats but seating rotation and regular stops meant we all had a good day out. Detailed descriptions about the culture, economy, industry, agriculture and of course the destination locations meant there was plenty to see and understand through the day. The lunch was very simple, traditional and well presented and the destinations and overall journeying was very entertaining. Great for enquiring adults. It was a lot of Kms to cover in a day so young children may find it tough. Adam our guide was very attentive and worked hard to show the best of his island-thank you Adam

Such a fantastic day out. We saw goats… tasted freshly made cheese, olive oil and bread… also fed animals… visited Zeus’s cave… saw beautiful views…. Old windmills… gorgeous bbq dinner with fresh local vegetables and fruits...old trees. Great amounts of knowledge from our fantastic guide Dimitris. Just a fantastic experience for all. We are all very tired and happy now!

It is a great trip, really worth going. I enjoyed the whole journey, the view along the way is outstanding and special, beach is very quiet and exclusive. Lunch was lovely. Most important George and Yannis are two very nice tour guides, they add a lot of joys along the way. U will love their passion and hospitality
