If you want to explore the island of Crete on a different level, this tour is for you! Our tour guide Mike made the experience fun right from the start. Dj-ing, singing, dancing, telling us about the history of the Island and making sure we all get amazing pictures, he will do it all. You will optimally use the day to explore a little church, a beautiful vineyard (with great wine you get to taste!), a cute taverna with great food by the seaside and some incredible mountain views. What makes the experience so lovely is the fact that you get to meet some new people along the way. You spent a lot of time together in the jeep after all. Mike made sure the ice was broken right away, and before we knew we were all singing along to all the classics. I would highly recommend this safari!

We had such a lovely 4x4 jeep safari tour with Mikel today! We got picked up around 8:30 in the morning in Chersonissos and drove off to the South of the island. We had a stop at a church in the mountains, a winery and vineyard, a viewpoint from the mountains over the sea, the beach and an old bridge with some turtles. It was also possible to do an optional wine tasting with a subcharge. At the beach we had around an hour to go for a swim and afterwards we had an incredible lunch. Going offroad made the trip even better. The driving felt safe as well. During the trip Mikel made sure that everyone was comfortable and had a good time. He was singing a lot and made a lot of jokes. Mikel was a good photographer as well and was really determined to take the best pictures at the pretty spots. In the jeep it felt like we were driving with one big family and the music that was played also made it even better. We were back at our hotel around 4:30 in the afternoon and we enjoyed every minute of the trip. We would truly recommend to book this trip, this isn’t an experience you want to miss out on.

Amazing trip! Myself and my husband went on the self drive safari jeep experience,Manos our guide was amazing very professional and thorough when explaining different stops we went to.
Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble
Would definitely recommend this experience

I’ve never experienced something so amazing in my life! Mikel made this experience 10x better with how funny and welcome he made me and my friend feel, he was lovely and always made sure we felt okay through out the journey.

My experience on this excellent tour was 5 out of 5,one of the best tours I've even been on Jason was my tour guy pick e up at my hotel & from the minute he picked me up he was really nice & was really good at explaining what the day had i store for us & where we would be going & everything we would be doing he also asked if anyone was a vegetarian, told us loads of history about the,was really interesting when he explained everything how,Raki and Olive oil was made we got to taste them both at the factory we done cheese tasting the goat Valley Lassithi Plateau was lovey we feed the coats had some Raki we see loads of beautiful places,we also see Zeus Diktean stop of for a amazing bbq the foid was delicious got to taste some amazing sweets I would definitely recommend if ypu get the chance to go on the tour definitely go is a great day out & worth every penny
