In this half-day tour, explore the city of Marseille: its old port and the historical center. Observe the Palais Longchamp (Water Castle), which was inaugurated in 1869 to bring water from the Durance river to Marseille. Climb up to the iconic basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde (usually called la Bonne Mère) that was built in Roman-Byzantine style in 1864 to replace the old chapel with the same name. There observe the fabulous view over Marseille. Finally, go to the charming point a view on Chateau D’if , before returning back to your port of cruise terminal of Marseille.

The guide was very good but the driver was more interested in cutting the tour short so he could get to a family event. Both driver and guide argued about the timing of the tour. Didn't make for a happy and enjoyable tour.

We had a wonderful time our guide was fantastic he was.,Very informative really polite I would say out of five excursions this was the best. Thank you again for making our trip wonderful

I could not hear the driver/ guide from the far back seat.
It should be procedure to take turns in the front seat as that is whom the driver mostly conferred with.
Also hard to see the tall buildings from a sedans windows
Next time I will go on a big bus with big windows and a speaker system

Our guide was a nice lady. The tour was dreadfully disorganized and started an hour late. This time could not be made up so free time was eliminated.

Bus was late nearly an hour and not in the expected location. We had to walk a ways and that was fine for me but there were others who had canes. You cannot do this to people who are expecting something else and paying good money.
The tour guide was very good but overshadowed by the lateness.

Paco our guide was fabulous. Very kind and very helpful along with being very informative. It was a cold rainy day which put a bit of a damper on our tour, but thoroughly enjoyed the sites even in the rain. The stairs to the Notre Cathedral would have been daunting on a nice day, but rainy and cold some of the group did not try to make it up.
