Our main goal each day on the Dragon Fruit is to provide you with lifelong memories on one of Puerto Rico’s most fun, unique and multi faceted boats! Whether you are a first time swimmer or an experienced snorkeler, we have an adventure just right for you. We are typically on charter for 4 hours, find 2 beautiful reefs to explore. Our boat is well equipped for a very sturdy ride. She rides like a steady strong boat even in big seas. We have a fabulous ladder making getting on and off the boat accessible to passengers of all ages and special assistance needs.
We have an amazing assortment of foodie friendly cuisine & original cocktails for you as well as VERY experienced Captain and crew. We truly look forward to the opportunity to serve you.

This was a memory for a lifetime with my kids. I don’t usually spend money on private tours yet I would do this every year with Dragon Fruit. From the initial communication reviewing every detail to the final farewell hug from my kids Ruthie and Capt Scott were amazing. We learned so much, overcame fears and had a beautiful experience with all the sea life living in the coral reef.
We will be back to learn how to scuba dive with them soon :)

We booked a private snorkeling morning tour for our family of four and it was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. it was our first time snorkeling and Ruthie did an amazing job leading us and pointing at all the different fishes and even turtles. Captain Scotty is very experienced and was great on board, and the food was amazing. The short trip to Palomino island was beautiful. I definitely 100 percent recommend this if you want a family / small group oriented experience.

This private charter is worth every penny. Ruthie and Scott were amazing hosts. They were so patient with the kids and made sure they had a great first time snorkeling experience. We saw lots of fish, turtles and beautiful coral. The lunch was amazing, even accommodating one of our friends who needs a gluten free option. I just can’t say enough positives, and would highly recommend Simpatico Charters to anyone looking for a personalized experience.

Great snorkeling excursion to have the trip to ourselves. Ruthie and Scotty were super knowledgeable, helpful and fun. We saw a turtle, sting ray, slipper lobster and lots of fish with Ruthie’s guidance. When were returned to the boat, Scotty had a delicious lunch prepared.
Really special outing.

What a wonderful afternoon with Ruthie and Captain Scotty. Great fun, good snorkeling, good food. Ruthie is a great snorkeling teacher. Both are safety-first, but in a positive way. They know the good spots, they’ve even named some of the local recognizable individual fish. Bring your towels and a good attitude, and you will have a marvelous time snorkeling, learning about island life, and enjoying their stories. So glad we chose Sympatico and the Dragon Fruit over other operators.

We made our reservation through TripAdvisor and received our confirmation. We booked a private charter with guided snorkel. We arrived at the marina 15 minutes ahead of schedule and the boat had already departed with another group. We attempted to contact the Captain and Ruthie for an hour. Finally someone answered the phone and said the boat had been "accidently double booked." This ended up being a very disappointing situation for our group. We made arrangements for transportation from Rio Grande to Fajardo only to find that the company would not honor our reservation. The charter company did refund our money. This basically wasted a day of our guest's vacation, which was not optimal.

The whole trip was amazing. Scottie and Ruth are awesome. Ruth was very patient with my family in the water. I do not know how to swim, and she had me relaxed on the noodle. I did not worry once the whole time in the ocean. Snoreling was great. Ruth knows her stuff..The lunch was awesome as well. The whole family loved it. Thank you Scottie and Ruth. We will see you guys again for some scuba diving.

It was an amazing time!! We were looking for a true snorkeling excursion rather than 2 hrs on a beach and 20 minutes in the water. This was just that. We spent the entire time in the water minus the thirty minutes on the boat eating a delicious lunch. Thanks so much to Scottie and Ruthie for an amazing experience!!
