For the most part, great day. Our driver/guide was a very nice man...forgot his name. :-( Toured the Panama Viejo ruins and the interesting museum. Had a stop for a beverage in the shade. Then were off to Avenida Balboa and the Casco Viejo. The Nome Chocolate was a disappointment, although we did buy some of their chocolate and got to see an impressive sculpture made from chocolate. I was under the impression we would be making some chocolate after getting the history and process of chocolate making explained to us. But that did not happen and we just sampled some very small pieces of chocolate. (I did a chocolate experience in Granada, Nicaragua booked with Viator a few years back and that was a memorable experience where we learned all about making chocolate, had hands on time roasting and grinding beans and then making a bar to take with us...but this was absent of all of that). Our guide took us to a church to see a huge Nativity scene which was truly spectacular and then he took us to Casablanca in Plaza Bolivar where we sat at a nice outdoor table in the shade and ordered some incredible drinks and a burger that was honestly one of the best I've had in my life! Other than the chocolate experience which really wasn't, this was a very nice tour and we enjoyed it and our guide/driver very much.
