This is the second time I booked this trip with Lorenzo, the first time was in March 2013, so a long time ago. Peru really amazed me, so I went back!
I really had an awesome time back then, so there was no doubt in my mind that I would book with Lorenzo's again. The accommodation got better, the hike is more exciting and the dreaded cable car got replaced by a waayyyy less scary variant - don't know if that takes some excitement away :D
I even got Wilbert again as a guide, that was really amazing, you can only love that guy.
This is easily one of the best things to do in life, especially when you're in Peru, plan to go to Machu Picchu and have enough time to do this 4 day trip. Don't miss this!
Lorenzo focuses on involving local people, so you get a real experience here. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! The team is great and everything is made with love. Wilbert is an amazing guide! We make de 3 day/2 night trail to machupichu, 2 places we sleep in veyry good. Wilbert gave us a lot of history information, really good. We took the bikes tour as well. Everythin is really really amazing!!

Fantastic family ran company. We chose the 4 day 3 night jungle trek to Machu Pichu which for us was perfect, it was around 2 days walking including on parts of the traditional inca trail and the rest of the time activities. Overall we were glad we chose this option rather then a trek with more walking.
All activities were thrilling and good quality equipment, always felt safe yet the activities were really fun. You don’t need any prior experience of downhill biking or rafting.
Accommodation was basic but clean and comfy. Food was impressive, no need to bring any with you.
Lorenzo as a company were great, they arranged our Machu Pichu tickets well in advance and had them printed.
They came to our hotel in Cusco the night before for a briefing.
Usually the group is around 6 participants, however my partner and I were the only ones booked - despite this they still went ahead with our dates and we had our own personal tour guide - this customer service was very impressive.
A special mention to our guide Bruno, the best tour guide I’ve ever had. So knowlagable and easy to get on with. He kept us safe and ensured we had an amazing time.
We went in September and found the weather perfect. Great views of Machu Pichu.
Remember to book your train to and from Aguas Calientes in advance - ask Lorenzo for advice.

Lorenzo and his team were very professional, friendly and anxious to give us a great experience for the four days that we hiked. The activities were set at pace that we could enjoy and be able to take many pictures, taste lots of food, converse with the natives and other people.
Our tour guide, Ricardo, was so attentive and generous and very informative and Knowledgeable which made the trip so interesting and fun
we will definitely go back.

We had the best time on our Jungle Trek (4D/3N) booked with Lorenzo expeditions. Our guide was John & he was awesome!! Very informative, patient & best photographer ever. We had a blast biking, hiking, enjoying the hot springs, Machu Picchu with John, as well as rafting & ziplining. Everything was easy to book & plan and all the accommodations and food were perfect! Thank you John for such an amazing trip of a lifetime!

Varied and adventurous trip to Macha Picchu in 4 days. We have booked 2 additional excursions ourselves, namely rafting and zip line. Our guide Bruno taught us a lot about the history of the Incas.

The four of us made an unforgettable trip to Machu Pichu. This was made possible by our guide Wilbert. He was there for us every moment and arranged a lot so that we could only enjoy the holiday and the surroundings. The places where you stay and eat are largely owned by locals who earn money from tourism. We didn't expect to get to such unique places. The food and breakfast was the best we have had this holiday.

This was truly an amazing experience with 4 days / 3 nights walking the Inka jungle trail to Machu Picchu.
First off, all the equipment and hostels/facilities that we got were of very good quality. The food that was provided was very tasteful and plentiful as well. The route itself was fun and of a good level for everyone to do. Also the possibility for activites in-between were fun.
Second, our tour guide Wilbert was the best tour guide I have seen so far. He is fun to talk to, has very good knowledge, and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. For example, after telling him that we had a specific allergy, he made sure for the rest of the trip that the food was adjusted to this. Additionally, he went out by himself to buy some lotion for some mosquito bites that were very itchy for me. Amazing guy that you will have nice conversations with.
Huge recommendation to book a tour with them, i guarantee you will have a great time.

Amazing tour! Really good accommodations for each stop and food was excellent. Lovely mix of activities so it was not just hiking. Wilburt was our tour guide and he did a great job of ensuring we had a great time with everything taken care of for us. Would definitely recommend.
