Fantastic private tour with our amazing guide Sam (Samneang Ty) and driver Keal. Sam's knowledge about and love for his country is infectious, there was no question he couldn't answer. Day 1, temples on the grand circuit with a stop for lunch in a lovely, clean restaurant. Amazing sights, Sam knew all the best places for a great photo too. Day 2 was the early sunrise at Angkor Wat which was so peaceful and calm before the start of a busy day. Then breakfast, Ta Prohm and Angkor Thom and Bayon. Each time we got back in the car, Keal was waiting with cold water and a damp, cold cloth infused with eucalyptus. Day 3 was a boat trip on the (low at this time of year) Tonle Sap with a quick visit to Chong Kneas. When I said how saddened I was to see that the souvenirs there were largely foreign, Sam suggested we drive to the Made in Cambodia market. He and Keal were happy to give us time to browse before taking us back to our hotel.
I would thoroughly recommend this private tour, everything is at your own pace and your guide has so much time for just your party. If you've got Sam and Keal, you're very lucky indeed.

We spent three marvelous days with Samneang (“Sam”) Ty exploring the temples and floating villages that make Siem Reap such a draw. Sam is a fabulous guide. He made our trip to Cambodia warm, educational, fun, and happy. He is a fount of knowledge and his elegant English ensured that his wide-ranging talks on Cambodian history, ecology, and culture were riveting. He has a deep appreciation of his home country and an enormous love for the area. Kosal, (“Sal”) our driver, was wonderfully friendly and a very careful and conscientious driver who kept our large van sparkling clean. Our trip to Cambodia will always be defined by Sam’s and Sal’s dedication to ensuring that our minds, hearts, and souls were fully nourished, and we left wanting to return again to learn more of their lessons.

Well organized itinerary that was well paced and went according to schedule. Our guide, Sam was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and spoke English well. He is also good with the camera, and we have a lot of great pictures to show for it. The driver, Usa was also very kind and caring. Whenever we returned to the car, he would have cold towel rolls and chilled water to refresh us. Thanks for the great memories.

My family and I did the three day tour with Sak. It was an excellent experience which we can’t fault. Sak has an amazing knowledge of everything we saw and we always had plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere and take photos. It is a small group tour but we never felt rushed. Sak’s sense of humour, ability to get on with people and glimpses into his life made the tour for us. Also thanks to Mr Black the most excellent driver always there with water and a cold towel. Our driver for Tonle Sap day was also superb but I can remember his name. You won’t regret booking this tour!

We had the privilege of having Sak as our guide for the three day tour. He made it a fantastic experience with his guidance, advice, sense of humour and outstanding knowledge of every temple site we visited. His desire to give everybody the best possible experience was clear throughout. Also a mention for both our bus drivers who were superb and always ready with cold water and a cold towel. Mr Black for the last two days. I have no hesitation in recommending this experience, great value for money, excellent communication from the company and great attention to detail.

Our travel agent connected us with Journey Cambodia and our experience with this company was fantastic! Our tour guide, Sak, and driver, Mr. Usa were both really personable, professional and provided exceptional service.
From the little details like cold water & facecloths to providing plastic bags for us to sit on as we waited for the sunrise at Angkor Wat, to helping us book additional excursions we felt well cared for and educated about Cambodia, Siem Reap and Angkor.
Sak is extremely knowledgeable and passionate which makes him a wonderful tour guide. We appreciated our time with him and would recommend him as a tour guide!

Our guide, “Chop Chop” Sauron Pal was knowledgeable, kind and entertaining, worked hard to ensure that we benefited the most from our guided tour of the marvellous temples and countryside of Siem Reap.

The drivers were attentive to us and provided us with copious amounts of cold water and refreshing towels (an absolute necessity in the warm/ hot Cambodian climate.

The office team answered our pre-visit questions throughly and promptly.

I can’t imagine how our time and money could have been better spent.

We did a 3Days Temples with Sunrise & Tonle Sap – Private tour. It t was absolutely amazing and impressive. We had a great german-speaking tour guide (Pal Sothy) - highly recommended. We learned so much about the history of Cambodia, Our tour guide Pal Sothy was so enthusiastic, it was a real pleasure to have him around for these three days of unforgettable impressions. One of the highlights of the tour was the unexpexted shaman on an elephant on our way to Tone Sap. :)
We had a minibus, and a lovely driver who provided us with water and cold towers.
We can really recommand to take your time and to really visit as much as you can, indluing the tour to Tonle Sap - it really worth it.
