I decided to do this tour directly upon arrival at the airport, as I had some time before I could check into my hotel. It was a great way to spend the morning and provided a lot of variety. Sam was a very informed and engaged guide who made the tour interesting and fun. We drove around various areas of Doha, with opportunities for photos and walking. Visiting the falcon souk and hospital was especially interesting. I also enjoyed the dhow boat ride, as it provided opportunities for photos and to experience a traditional boat. Overall, I thought this was a very good tour and a nice introduction to the city.

Sam was great! I had a 9 hour layover in Doha, so I booked a 5 hour tour to see the city highlights…definitely worth it! I had a bit of trouble finding my way out of the airport, but Sam patiently waited an extra 30 minutes. He took me to every site listed in a comfortable SUV and let me stay as long as I wanted at each. The Souq Waqif was the best part, so many shops and so clean! Sam knew many of the vendors, so was able to help me understand their deals for fair pricing and negotiating. He also helped me find the types of souvenirs i was looking for. I even got to hold one of the falcons and pose for a few photos. Well worth the effort to venture out of the airport!

Ali was our guide and from the moment he picked us up, he was friendly and engaging. He was also very knowledgeable about the city, it's history and it's peoples. We visited the soul, Katara Cultural Centre, Pearl Island and more before our half hour dhow cruise.

Mubi our fabulous guide provided a great half day tour of this fascinating city. He was very friendly, knowledgeable & caring to our group of 8 friends. The tour was well paced, with so many aspects of the city visited & along with the history & modern life explained. Highly recommend, a great tour.

Our guide Mubi was really great although he spoke really fast! The whole tour was really good and covered lots of sights. The Dhow boat was good although the actual boat could do with some maintenance. Great view of city.

Ali was an incredible tour guide. His local knowledge of the area was extensive, we took the morning tour in a private air conditioned vehicle and were supplied with water. Unfortunately, because we travelled during Ramadan, and on a Friday it meant the souq had not yet opened ( opens around 2pm). The boat trip provided great photo opportunities of the skyline. I cannot Fault the tour it was great value for money and gave us a great insight into the areas of interest of Doha. Many thanks Ali

My guide Sam did a great job of showing me the interesting and impressive parts of Doha, this multi-billion creation that has risen from the desert. Instead of spending a long layover sitting at the airport, I decided to book a private tour of the city. It was an excellent decision. My guide knew his adopted city well and was very knowledgeable about all we saw.. I was concerned before booking this that there might be a problem in this conservative Muslim country with a male guide being the companion/guide of a female traveling solo. I shouldn't have worried. There wasn't even the slightest discomfort or problem. Sam was informative, enthusiastic and friendly. All in all, it was a vey pleasant afternoon. I highly recommend.

Great tour. Really took advantage of the limited time (6 hours) we had in Doha between flights. I was able to customize things in advance to make sure to see everything I wanted to. Unfortunately, we were there on a Friday morning, so the National Museum was closed, the Mosque was off-limits, and the Souk was pretty empty. On the other hand, traffic was light and we were able to get great photos without a lot of other tourists in the shot. Sam was a great guide, really did an excellent job taking advantage of the light traffic to take us to places that weren't even on my list, to make up for the things we couldn't do. The company was very responsive from the start. I'd definitely recommend going with them, and request Sam if you can!
