It is a unique wine tourism experience, located in a natural spot on Etna surrounded by the expanding city, where we have decided to revive the historical family etna viticulture, a countertrend decision in an area of growing constructions and facilities.
We are motivated by the love for a 8 generations' family property, and the desire to show that a different use of land is possible and feasible even within city's suburbs, that still retain the character of a typical Etna lava field.
You will visit the vineyards at your own pace through the self guided vineyard trail. Take time to enjoy your walk, stop at viewpoints and learn at the information boards. Immerse in the austere atmosphere of our Palmento (historical winery) from 1790 and still largely in its original shape.

5 out of 5. Beautiful vineyard in the middle of the city! Urban is fitting. The structures and grounds were well maintained and the staff was kind and knowledgeable. Vigna Grande 2022 was by far the best wine we tasted. The food was thoughtful and tasty. Recommend you visit if you are in the Catania area, only 30 mins away.

We had an amazing time. The hostess was amazing and kind. After we were left behind from another activity THIS WINERY was just what we needed. The vineyard is beautiful and we enjoyed the atmosphere. ANGELA you made our day and saved our trip. We had a variety of appetizers to accompany our wine tasting. What a great time for our group, we had a great time.
