This tour was perfect! From start to finish, they took care of everything and guided us through the entire experience. They came to our hotel in Cusco the night before to go over details and the next day everything went according to schedule (and all on time!). Pick up in Cusco at 5:30AM, got to Ollantaytambo by 7:15 and had such a fun train ride on the vistadome train (the balcony train is so worth it!) reached Aguas Calientes by 9:30, then made it to Machu Picchu to meet our tour guide by 10:00. We made it back to Cusco by 7:30PM. It really took away the stress of trying to plan travel to and from Machu Picchu, including the tickets into MP. All the staff and guides were extremely kind and helpful. Shout out to Edwin who gave us an amazing private tour of Machu Picchu and also took iconic photos of us! Highly recommend this tour if you're looking for a hassle-free and memorable trip to Machu Picchu!

We booked a last minute visit to Machu Picchu and did not know that tickets for the site were sold out for the day we planned to visit. Jhordy did an amazing job getting us tickets for a few days later and took care of every part of the plan, making sure we had a ride from our hotel to the Ollantaytambo train station, train to Aguas Calientes, tickets and guide for Machu Picchu, train back to Ollantaytambo, and drive to Cusco. It all worked perfectly and he was in constant communication with us to answer our questions and help. Highly recommended!

SAND FLIES BEWARE. We had no clue these little bugs calls sandflies or “no-see-ums” all over the mountain. Our guide and the multiple people who helped set this up did not mention anything about bugs. I got bite all over my arms by these invisible bugs and now over a month later I’m still dealing with lesions and nasty nasty sores from their bite, they are incredibly sensitive and can take even up to a year to go away I’ve read. I’m just so shocked they don’t warn more people about this. Please just bring bug spray so you are not like me paying thousands a month later on dermatologist appointments. I think the bugs actually gave me leishmaniasis which is a disease from their bite. BEWARE.

Jhordy met us at our hotel the night prior to provide necessary details of our upcoming day. He answered all of our questions. Our guide Ronald was amazing. He was very informative and accommodating. This company is highly recommended.

we had a great time form start to finish, Jhordi met us the evening before to explain the plan of the day and then everything went exactly as planned except a delay on the train home which was nobodies fault, the driver patiently waited the extra hour or so so take us back no problem. The town of Machu Picchu was great, we had lunch and dinner there the of course visiting Matchu Picchu itself was exactly what you would expect, fantastic!.
The only comment I would make and this seems to be the same for every tour operator is meeting places often dont exist, have moved, or there are multiple with the same name, make sure you know exactly where you are meeting.

Nothing but good to say. I contacted the group as soon as I arrived to my hotel to verify the reservation and immediatly they started to offer assistance to make the tour more seamless. They actually met me at the hotel and assisted me in organizing my transportation to the meeting spot which was totally suppose to be on me and completely out of their scope of responsibility. The guide we worked with was excelent, and Machu Picchu was everything we were hoping.
I mentioned I was planning a trek in the Andes and they offered to help make the necessary contacts and were extremely budget conscience. Five day trek though the Andes later, and my son and I have memories we will cherish the rest of our lives. I could not have possibly had the total Peruvian experience without their knowledge and willingness to help me every step of the way. Booked this tour thru Inca Rail which was a great decision as the package included bus transport from Cusco to train station in Ollantaytambo then train ride to Aguas Calientes with final bus to Machu Picchu entrance. Tour starts at about 5am and Bus ride to train station is about an hour, train ride is about 2 hours, lastly bus ride to Machu Picchu entrance is about 30 min. Tour of the ruins is about 2 hours. Then same trek in reverse back to Cusco. Your tour also includes entrance ticket to MP. You’ll have about 2 hours after tour in Aguas calientes to eat and shop before return to Cusco. Layer up as day starts cold but MP gets warm; wear sunblock, dress comfortable and be prepared to walk. Inca Rail staff was professional. Tour guide, also included, was very knowledgeable and detailed in explaining facts and details about MP. Very happy I booked tour with Inca Rail. Aguas calientes had a great restaurant called Full house with amazing views of the mountains. Great good and drinks.

It was a perfectly organised tour and the guide was very attentive and helpful. Machu Picchu is massive and having an English speaking guide with such an immense knowledge was certainly a plus. I am very happy and totally convinced with the whole trip and totally reccomend them.
