I had a day layover in Shanghai and decided to choose this tour to see the city. I had a fantastic day with my guide Caroline on this trip! She was so knowledgeable and even made suggestions on ways to adapt the itinerary to avoid most of the crowds. It was a great way to see the highlights of Shanghai in one day, I would definitely recommend!

The tour was great - the guide was lovely and spoke very good English. The driver and car were very clean, punctual and convenient.

The guide was very flexible, accommodating, friendly and helpful.

The only thing we found was that the tour itself was a little long for the kids and we cut the museum tour short.

This was probably the best tour of our whole China holiday. And the guide Berlin contributed to make it so special.
Her personality is really friendly and she is quite knowledgeable and passionate.
After the first few minutes we felt like being with a Friend.
The tour is very comprehensive and some of it can be personalized based on your preferences.
The lunch also was great and included and having a local with you helps a lot to give you the best experience.
Berlin was very proactive to get entry tickets quickly everywhere we went and very patient with the - at times - slower pace of our 6 year old daughter.
The driver also was very punctual and made it easy for us to get on and off the car in the right spots.
This tour is very recommended also because you get to see a lot of Shanghai in one day if you have limited time or simply want to dedicate your other days to exploring on your own, relaxing or shopping.
Well done !

Caroline was a fantastic tour guide for a truly memorable day in Shanghai! The schedule was well thought-out, including modifying our plan to start at the Shanghai Tower due to the weather forecast, which was the perfect choice to maximize views. Caroline was very knowledgeable about all of the places we visited, and was very accommodating with taking photos, pointing out bathrooms, picking an excellent restaurant for lunch, etc. We accomplished a lot during this day, but never felt rushed. Our driver was also great - the car was very comfortable and we never needed to wait for arrival. Caroline even shared her contact information in case we had questions during the rest of our trip, and was responsive with a great restaurant recommendation when I messaged her after the tour - above and beyond! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai!

We booked this trip because of all the nice reviews, and it did not disappoint! I booked this trip as a surprise with my father and we had so much fun. Snow was such an amazing, kind, and insightful guide as she led us around Shang hai. The driver was always on time and made traveling around seamless. Before we had booked this trip, we had planned to hit all of the same places by ourselves- looking back, I am so glad I booked because we would have never gotten nearly enough out of those experiences if we had done them alone. Snow was a trove of cultural knowledge and was excellent at telling us the history of everywhere we stopped.
Next time I’m in Shang Hai, I will not hesitate to do it all over again.

Arriving a few days early for business in Shanghai, I looked out my hotel window at endless buildings, yearning to learn more about the city, its rich history, and rapid development. However, not knowing any Mandarin or having any local contacts, I apprehensively began searching for tours – something highly atypical of me that filled me with worries about whether it would even be worth it over exploring and wandering on my own.

Lowering my expectations and figuring I’d at least learn something, I booked the trip to overcome my inertia. I’m glad to say I was very wrong – it was the best decision I made, and I was quickly put at ease. Soon after booking, a woman named Alana messaged me as the trip coordinator and provided me with info on what to expect and where to meet. On the day of the tour, local guide Blair greeted me at my hotel and led me to a Tesla and professional driver who made traveling even in thick traffic comfortable. I was immediately impressed that Blair not only spoke English but did so with native fluency, allowing me to communicate freely just as I would with anyone in my own city.

Adjusting for rain and foggy conditions, Blair adapted the itinerary for us, visiting the sites in the best order. At each location, she explained the historical context of different sites, things to pay attention to, and their lasting impact on Shanghai today – none of which I could have learned from simply reading plaques. She seamlessly coordinated the car picking us up from different points even as we walked through different streets, sometimes stopping for snacks or boba. Zhujiajiao, “the Venice of Shanghai,” was the most interesting spot of the tour, where we took a boat ride down canals that took nearly a millennium to fully construct, wandered narrow alleys of food stalls, and saw more traditional architecture.

Throughout the whole journey, the most fun was simply chatting with Blair, who was a fantastic conversationalist with high emotional intelligence that can make anyone feel close. She patiently answered dozens of my questions and made me feel like I made a friend.

As someone who typically groans at the thought of going on a tour, I greatly enjoyed this one and would recommend anyone to consider it.
