Our tour explains the history of the Henequén fiber-producing farms "Haciendas" in Yucatán at the end of the 19th century, our guide will accompany you on this horseback ride, touring the ranch gardens and visiting the sheep farm. Due to the location so close to the beach, we will visit the port of "Progreso" and have time off at the "Silcer" beach club.

This was the second time we have done this tour having done it last year. The tour operator allowed us to customize this tour so that we went to the Santa Barbara Cenotes before horse riding. It was amazing, I would definitely recommend this tour and will do it again. I would recommend seeing if you can ride in the afternoon that way there is more shade and you are riding into the golden hour which makes the whole experience magical!

This was one of the most unique experiences we went on during our trip. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Carlos, Paola and their cowboys were great. Taking a horse ride into the Yucatan forest was a great experience. We got to tour a sisal factory too and learned about the history of the region. We were even provided with a snack (more of a mini meal) and juices. It was probably our favourite excursion. After which we were driven to the beach club to relax. Our driver was very accommodating and flexible.
