I wanted to leave a review to praise Captain Juan. I went snorkel with Total Snorkel in Cancun in November 2024. I could not swim and was scared during the whole snorkel, I dared not to go snorkel following the guide and the group but sticking with the boat the entire time. It was Captain Juan who encouraged me and helped me to get used to swimming around the boat. I went from screaming on the boat to snorkelling a bit not going too far away from the boat. I don’t know how I can express how grateful I was for his help and he really made my trip snorkelling in Cancun wonderful!

Our guide, Daisy was great and made sure everyone was able to see as many cool things as possible while we were exploring. It was a memorable adventure that I would absolutely do again. Also the process from shuttle to boat and back was super easy

Our family was looking for a snorkel excursion during our trip to Riviera Maya. We connected with Total Snorkel, and their customer service was extremely helpful (we used WhatsApp to message in English) and accommodated re-scheduling our trip due to weather.
We had a private van transportation for our extended family of 11, even though our hotel was further from Cancun. The van was pretty new with cold AC and very professional drivers. The Total Snorkel shop was at the Punte Norta marina north of Cancun and had very clean, comfortable facilities, including a gift shop and refreshments for sale, bathrooms with showers, and plenty of waiting room.
Our captain Juanito and guide Mauricio took great care of our family, which ranged in age from 6 to 63. Although the ocean had some challenging waves and currents that day, they made sure we were safe and comfortable. They spoke great English with our family and answered all our questions.
We went to 4 different locations and were able to see all 5 highlights. By the end of the trip, we were exhausted from being in the water but very pleased with our trip. The showers helped us refresh upon our return before viewing the professional photos, which looked great! We were offered photo/video packages, but declined because we had our own GoPro - and they did not push those on us.

The experience was good for those who were experienced snorkelers. This was an introductory class . I was in a little emergency duyy try big one of our snorkeling sessions and it was one of my group mates that helped me . The instructor was far ahead of me . I read similar comments to mine prior to booking the went and now I see why they said it .

It was fun. Felt a little rushed. The guide moved us quickly through the snorkeling. Cenotes were not what I was expecting. It was just the lighter part of the ocean where the floor was “missing”. Loved seeing the sea turtles and all the fish! The ocean was rough. I handled it just fine but my husband got incredibly sea sick. Not the tour guide’s fault by any means. Just unfortunate ocean conditions. You do need to be a strong swimmer as there’s lots of swimming

This was the best tour out of all of them to take, now the snorkel gear mau need update as the day before when we did boat toir with my wet cap i had no leaks but this day i had to take multiple breaks bc of the leak saltwater burns the eyes. Besides that the captian the guide and photographer was great, skip bringing your Camera just bring swimsuit a snack, dry towel and dry clothes and enjoy. I mean I took some great photos but Monsi she got the shots and as you can tell loves what she does! We loved this tour 10/10 . Thank you guys for am amazing time .

Absolutely fantastic morning well worth the money .staff are very welcoming and gave all safety chats prior . So sorry forgot tour guide teams names but they were brilliant and so reassuring we went at 9 am if thus helps with their compliment . Fantastic top marks from us

We had an amazing time snorkelling with Total Snorkel. My partner and I had never snorkelled before so the crew made sure to explain to us what we need to do. Our crew was Emilio and Carlos Pineapple, and they were super entertaining and lots of fun!!! We saw loads of different types of fish, as well as turtles and sting rays. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area who wants to see some sea life in their natural environment!

The tour was very well done, however, I would have liked it to be slightly longer. The staff and organizers were excellent at keeping everyone on schedule. It should be noted that the advertised tour times include preparation and setup, so the actual tour itself is shorter than expected. Musa is literally just viewing of the hands but in a good note we did see many turtles and colorful fish.
