Tulum is the largest pre-Hispanic construction to remain erect. Its unique seaside location boasts one of the most beautiful views of the Mexican Caribbean, as seen from the eyes of the Mayan world.
The Cenotes are natural and unique sinkholes, made up of thousands of stalagmites and stalactites, where is possible to swim and refresh in the crystal waters of the amazing underground river, flowing under the Yucatan Peninsula.

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour with Salvador (Sal)! Even though the Tulum ruins were closed for construction, the Coba ruins were a great alternative (although a longer drive from our resort). Sal was incredibly knowledgable about the ruins and we sincerely enjoyed chatting and getting to know him on the drive. After the ruins, Sal took us to a wonderful Mayan restaurant, and while it was definitely a hole-in-the-wall, it was delicious. Lastly, the cenote was so refreshing, especially after walking around the ruins. We highly recommend this tour! Private is definitely the way to go.

Wonderful experience. Oscar was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, friendly, polite, kind, and most importantly very patient and caring with our kids. He was on time at our hotel and did not rush as at all during the tour. We would highly recommend this private tour. Ask for Oscar!

The tour guide Jose was amazing and very knowledgeable! I would say as it advertised the Gran Cenote as a stop, it wasn’t on the itinerary… it was a different Cenote. I had booked with this understanding and although we were able to switch the cenote, we did have to pay the difference.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide, Taco, was fantastic. He picked us up on time from our condo and was an attentive, knowledgeable, and all-around fantastic guide.
My friend wasn't feeling well the day of our tour and Taco was so caring the entire day. In Tulum, the heat was oppressive. Taco didn't rush us through the site, and he was able to find every shady area to stop while explaining each area. He escorted my friend to the restroom when she really needed to go and gave me clear directions on where to meet them so I could continue to see the rest of the site while she rested.
At the Gran Cenote, Taco provided great information about the cenotes and allowed us to enjoy the area at our leisure. He is also an awesome photographer. He took some great shots of me while I relaxed in the water. After leaving the cenotes, we stopped for a bite to eat and made our way back to our condo in Playa Del Carmen.
Overall, the tour was exactly what we were hoping for and Taco really made the day special.

My friends and I really enjoyed this private tour. Gabriel was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We always felt like we were in good hands. I would recommend this private tour over a large group tour.

We had an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and the local history. It was a pleasure having him as our guide. Everything went smooth and stress free which is exactly what we wanted on this trip. He took care of everything! I highly recommend it!

We loved Takeo! (aka Tako) He was our private tour guide for my husband and I on a tour of both the Tulum Archaeological Site and snorkeling in Gran Cenote. Not only was Tako super friendly and communicative, but he was also very knowledgeable about Tulum's people, history, and a range of other topics. We really enjoyed talking to him! As an extra bonus, Tako used to be a photographer, so he took a bunch of great photos of us at the ruins and while we were snorkeling. We couldn't recommend this tour and Tako more!

We had a private group of 6 with our tour guide Taco. Taco was great - very personable, smart and spoke good English! He walked around the Tulum ruins with us and explained the history and took photos of our group. Then we went to the grand cenote and snorkeled - the cenote was a bit crowded but beautiful. The last stop was the national park with sea turtles. We had a separate guide for the snorkeling there - saw a few turtles and sting rays. Finally, we had lunch at a local restaurant near the sea turtles and the food and service was great. Overall, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend Taco as a tour guide.
