Nice trip, entertaining guide and many lovely places to take pictures and create memories. Our guide, Life, was very entertaining and gave lots of background info. He made sure that we learned something new about Crete. We had lunch in Plisi and Life arranged that also the vegans in the group had a nice diner with wine and raki. The 4x4 was pretty packed with 8 adults plus driver, so do not expect a nice comfortable drive. No off road experience, although the road was sometimes a bit bumpy.

Perfect day, we got to see a different side of Crete with a local guide who was very professional and entertaining. We were fortunate that we only had 5 adults and a child in our vehicle. We saw other vehicles with 8 adults in them and they did not look comfortable at all. Keep in mind the walk to the beach while only 15 mn is steep and rocky. Lunch was incredible and the views perfect.

Eine wunderschöne empfehlenswerte Tour. Ich habe viele Eindrücke gesammelt von der Stadt Rethymno und der Umgebung und den Bergen. Super liebe, lustige,hilfsbereite Guides, die den Trip erst so richtig rund machen. Es war ein sehr schöner, entspannter,anstrengender und witziger Tag mit tollen Leuten.

Amazing experience from start to finish, we had an amazing tour guide - Denis the menus, who was an overall pleasure, funny and made our trip so enjoyable. We would reccomend to anyone of all ages, we booked through our hotel guide and did not have any issues that pains in our stomach and cheeks from laughter! A great way to explore part of Greece, everyone we met along the way was an absolute dream! 10/10!

Absolutely a must do trip, we had Dennis as our guide who was from the region, he made the day with his in depth knowledge of Crete, plus a funny guy.

Ahh just got back from a fantastic whole day trip around the area on the Land Rover safari driven by the amazing Dionysus. First the tour itself - what a great route got to see the real Crete through the mountains, up and down the smallest of roads and getting the most fantastic photos shots we would never have been able to get. Went to the stunning preveli palm beach and stopped at some amazing villages along the way. Had a fantastic lunch with huge amounts of food in a lovely Greek taverna too. Our driver for the day Dionysus made the trip even better he was so knowledgeable and friendly and funny too - nothing was too much trouble for him and went out of his way to make your day special. Worth every penny and would highly recommend to anyone

What a fabulous way to explore the real Crete. Our driver, Stelios, was warm and friendly with a fantastic knowledge of the local culture and ways of life. This was all delivered in an informal way through out the trip. The company, the food, the drinks, the views and the whole experience combined to make a memorable day.

Due to circumstances there were only 4 of us in the car instead of 8 people, very nice! With 8, it seems really tight to drive around all day in the heat. Stelios is great! Thank you 🤗

We were looking for an excursion that would take our family of 9 ages 11-83 off the beaten path, to villages, to taste local food and olive oil, and to see parts of Crete beyond Rethymno. Dionysius was a terrific, engaging guide, peppering us with facts and anecdotes about life here in Crete that kept our 11 yr old enthralled. We loved every minute including the ride in the jeep!
