Our hotel has booked us a balloon flight tour with this company. It was originally booked for July 1 with a different company, but the wind was strong so it was cancelled then we were told by the hotel that if we wanted to fly on July 2, we would need to pay €80 extra per person. At first I have questioned why I would have to pay extra as it was not my fault that no balloons flew on the 1st but the hotel said that the prices have increased due to the fact that a lot wanted to fly. Balloon flight was the main reason why we came to Cappadocia so we paid €80 extra per person to secure our place, making us pay €280/person for this balloon flight. On the day of the balloon flight, the driver was on time in picking us up from our hotel which was great. They gave us a bag containing foods and drinks. When we arrived at the flying point, the crew had already started inflating the balloon, I thought we would have the experience of watching the balloon being inflated from start to finish, but when we came it was already halfway inflated. Once the balloon was inflated, the crew rushed all of us to get inside the balloon. No safety instructions given to us, like if we are allowed to put our hands outside while flying, we were only told how to position ourselves during landing. The flight took 1hour, the balloon pilot was good in maneuvering the balloon, thanks to good weather too it was a smooth ride. The part that I did not like was, it felt like we were too far from other balloons, so taking photos with the other balloons as the background was a tough thing to capture. Everytime we get close to other balloons, the pilot seems to move away from them. Other balloons were flying really close to each other so I think it would have been fine if we also stayed close with the others. Another let down with this experience was the crew started to deflate the balloon immediately as soon as we safely landed, leaving us no chance to take photos outside the basket with the balloon still inflated - I don't know if it is the same with other company though or if this is a standard procedure. But it would have been nice if they let us take some photos with the balloon. The landing place was also too far from other balloons which are still up on the air so it was also impossible to get them on our photos as background. The balloon flight itself was fine and amazing as we get to witness the sunrise while we were up in the air.

The staff were very professional . Communication from Skyways on pick up from hotel was precise and they arrived on time. The balloon ride was awesome and the pilot did an excellent job. Hats off to Skyway balloons.

The pickup and drop off went smoothly. We were traveling with an elderly family member and they were kind enough to place us in a less populated compartment. Our pilot Kenan and his crew were very skilled at maneuvering the balloon-- we landed on the trailer and did not feel a thing! Just watching them inflate and land the balloons was half the fun :)

We went on a hot air balloon ride with Skyway through our tour company, OAT. We were picked up before dawn, given a string bag with a breakfast and taken to the balloon field. We immediately were shown our balloon and the crew loaded us in quickly - it was all done in a very orderly fashion. Our balloonist got us up first and we were able to watch the other balloons as they filled with air. We had an amazing ride, with a sunrise view, close up passes of the beautiful landscape, and just a spectacular overall experience - even the landing was awesomely done, directly onto the back of the truck. Our crew was so good at their job that they assisted another balloon group that was landing perilously close to the edge of a drop off and nearly collided with us - again, very professional and well organized!!

Best travel experience in my life! And we travel a lot! The crew was great. The entire experience was AMAZING! Just do it! Totally worth every penny! Just some things to expect: if the weather is bad they can’t fly (safety first), also you may be separated from your family and asked to go into a different section on the basket to even out the weight distribution (again safety first).

The launch was smooth .. Our pilot was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating insights about ballooning and the areas we floated over. The landing was as gentle as the takeoff, handled with impressive skill.

We paid top dollar for the tour and ended up being place in a separate boxes in the hot air balloon and because of that we weren't able to be in one box and take family photos without the unsightly rubber pole in the middle of our pictures. This was because the crew did not plan it correctly to place families together and just rushed us to get in wherever there was room. In the end, the management team was very unprofessional and started accusing me of threatening them instead of apologizing or showing any kind of empathy. Extremely unprofessional and will not recommend them!

The team was outstanding and supportive. The ride was excellent and reasonably priced. The ascent was smooth, and as we rose higher, the views were breathtaking.
