A sunrise meditation hike along the San Jacinto Mountains steps from Palm Springs to a resting spot with dramatic views of the Coachella Valley. You'll watch the sun rise over Indian Canyons and come together in guided meditation setting a grounded intention for the day.
We'll greet each other at the South Lykken trailhead. As we hike the trail about a mile to our meditation spot, we'll listen to the natural beauty of Oswitz Canyon. I'll lead you through a grounding meditation to help you set your intention for the day, acknowledging your connection to the Earth and the universe.
Guests will walk away with stunning photos. Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, you'll have a grounded connection to the environment, a clear mind, and an open heart. We will hear the sounds of the earth. We will see the colors of the planet. We will breathe the essence of being. We will see the universe in motion. The morning sun will expose our shadows. If the stars agree, we will see big horn sheep.

Wonderful hike. With the early morning hike and terrain, Timothy was patient and took mindful breaks for our group. Made it to the top just in time for the sunrise and views of the local mountain goats. Finished off with with a group meditation before our descend back down.

Amazing experience! The views were absolutely beautiful and Timothy’s guided meditation was very healing. Getting up early was so worth it, and I will do this again on my next visit.

Timothy was absolutely amazing! I required time for a slow and steady climb, he graciously paced our group accordingly. It took us about an hour to get to the spot where we viewed the sunrise, and it was perfectly magestic.
Going in I had doubts that I was physically capable and Timothy did an incredible job of helping me realize my own capabilities.
I joined this hike and grounding with my 14 year old son and it was all around a perfect activity and journey.

Timothy is an amazing tour guide and the hike will not disappoint! I felt energized and refreshed to take in the views and the meditation allowed me to release any extra energy and feelings that I was wanting to let go. I really enjoyed this experience and highly recommend if you enjoy hiking and beautiful sunrises!

Highly recommend a sunrise hike and meditation! Words will not do justice to the lived experience of, hinking to the viewing point followed by a guided meditation and feeling the hot sun rise. Truely grateful for owner/guide Timothy! Oh yeah and we saw the bighorn sheep that lives in the area!!

The hike started very early in the dark under the sparkly stars in the sky, but both quickly and slowly (!) saw the light fill the beautiful mountain ranges as we hiked. Timothy is a wonderful guide and seeing the sunrise was breathtaking and the meditation at the peak of this hike was very relaxing. We very highly recommend this guided hike!

Tim was a wonderful guide and was incredibly professional and organized from the initial communication I received from him. The walk was a manageably challenging and described perfectly by him ahead of time. The views were beautiful, and learned a lot of fun facts along the way. Highly recommend!

Totally worth getting up for! Timothy was a terrific tour guide who immediately made us feel comfortable. As we hiked up, he made sure we stopped to pause and look around at how the landscape was changing as the sun was coming up. He also shared just enough interesting details about the geography and history of the area. Watching the sunrise in the desert was unforgettable.
