The fire performance done by the actors, but all of the historical information was totally in Spanish. We should have been informed prior to booking that no English would be spoken. We were given a device that kind of explained rooms in the palace, but mine stopped working and they didn’t replace it.

We don't speak Spanish, and as such, this was probably not as immersive and engaging as it would have been had we been able to speak Spanish. They did have an English translation available on an iPad, so we could kinda sorta keep up with what each location around the castle was and why it was important. The castle itself was great. The history involved, the view from the roof, the way that being there let you imagine what it was like hundreds of years ago were all really quite incredible. The food that was served was also delicious. 4 courses of authentic Spanish food served in a medieval castle is a pretty unique and exciting dining experience. Had we the ability to understand the tour at all, I'm sure this would easily have been 5 stars, as everybody that was there was very engaged with the tour guides.

If it is your first time go to Barcelona, Do Not Buy It! If you don’t speak Spanish, DO NOT BUY IT! It is a pure spanish tour, you will be gaven a touch pad to listen to some VERY BRIEF INTRO the other guests are listening and entertained with. NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!
the tour starts at 8:00, where the arrival time listed 7:30. so you will be waiting in cold for half hour without knowing what the heck is going on, while the host cheers other guests in Spanish. It’s a complete waste of money and my precious time in my short visit to Barcelona. what else can I say besides horrible?!?!?!
Be aware and do not through your money in water in exchange of over 2 hours of anger and disappointment!!!!
I dont understand how are those non-spanish reviewers are still recommending it. Can the site at least warn the guest this tour is NOT in any other language but Spanish?!?!?!

This was a fantastic experience with wonderful food in an amazing historical building. We had a full tour of the palace and were even taken onto the roof of the building with lovely views of gothic Barcelona and sunset.
The medieval show was very good and atmospheric with sword fighting, flame throwing and dancing, we felt very spoilt with the great service of medieval food and wine. It was the best trip of the holiday and one we will never forget. I cannot recommend it enough, worth every penny.

Interesting experience! A little difficult to find, but worth the effort. Only disappointment was that 90 of the group was Spanish-speaking - only 3 of us needed English, so we were given tablets on which to watch and hear a very abbreviated tour from what the others got. Still, the castle was fun to see, the views from the top were quite incredible and the dinner which was served in the very quaint first floor area was fabulous.

Only if you speak spanish or cantalone, english is done with a tape. The cocktail hour, dinner and show were good.

The food was mediocre. The tour was too uninspiring and non informative on an iPad in English. The castle was interesting though to be allowed inside.

This was a great show, good meal ,wine and service.Those not wanting to go up and down stairs should not take this event.
