Outstanding! Marcelo was terrific! He was very communicative and extremely helpful. We did the day and half tour of Rio first. Great trips on the cable car and to Christ the Redeemer, with tickets provided. Delicious lunch! Then Carnaval at the Sambadrome. It is impossible to describe the experience--such color, singing and dancing, such excitement! One of the best experiences imaginable! Marcelo recommended our seats--they were at eye level with the performers. One blew kisses at me! The transportation arrangements were very good. I was initially concerned about safety, but we were very safe getting there, and we felt quite safe in the Sambadrome. We were very pleased with Marcelo and highly recommend using him if you are going to Brazil.

Highly recommend DoBrazilRight and Marcelo as your travel agent. It was our first time to South American and being there during Carnival was a bucket list trip for us. It was also our first time using a travel agent so were a bit nervous but Marcelo made the whole process easy and stress free. He kept us informed and was very quick to respond to all of our emails. We did the 8-hr day tour of the Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Selaron Stairway and the Cinelandia Square with lunch at Fogo De Chao restaurant. Renato was our tour guide and he was excellent. If you're there in Rio to see these sights, definitely spring for the 8-hr with lunch vs the 6-hr. On top of the fact that you're eating at the one of the most well known steakhouses in Rio, it was also nice to sit down for a bit between sites. Renato also made us a reservation at Restaurant Marius Degustare. It was right next door to our hotel and was like nothing we've ever seen before. It is a must visit! And, of course, the highlight of the trip was the parade at the Sambadrome. To see it in person is so much more incredible than I could ever describe. Whichever tour you decide to go on or whatever activity you want to do, DoBrazilRight is who you need to use. Marcelo and Renato and the whole DoBrazilRight staff planned and executed about as perfect of a trip as we could have hoped for.

We had a fantastic time in Rio for Carnaval. We worked with Marcelo who crafted the perfect itinerary for our 5 night stay. Everything from flights, hotel, transportation, full day tour and tickets to the parade were all arranged for us. It made for a stress free vacation and an incredible experience. Any questions we had were answered quickly.
The full day tour was great as well. Renato was our guide and was very knowledgeable and helped us capture great photos.
If you are considering a trip to Brazil, you cannot go wrong using this agency. Marcelo in particular, was amazing. You will be in good hands.

Also booked a 3 night package with “do Brazil right” (Marcelo) staying at Windsor Miramar hotel right on Copacabana beach! Marcelo got us section 9 tickets row E. GREAT FUN! Everything was perfect!

We booked the two day Rio Tour with DoBrazilRight as it had good reviews and in preference to any Tours offered by a cruise line which usually offers poor experiences for very high prices. We were not disappointed with our decision to book with DoBrazilRight.
From reserving our Tour with Marcelo, selecting our Group Size and payment, it couldn't have been easier, Marcelo was so helpful with our initial questions and accommodating some small last minute changes to the benefit of our itinerary made necessary by a change in the Quest's Port arrival and departure times in Rio.
The Tours on Day's 1 and 2 were outstanding. If you are lucky enough to have Marcia as your Tour Guide you will have a wonderful experience, she is an exceptional Tour Guide. Our trips to Sugar Loaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer went without a hitch, you get Priority Passes for both (no queuing what so ever). The lunch included on Day 1 at the Fogo De Chao Restaurant at the Marina was excellent, an all you can eat buffet with the biggest variety of meat I have ever had served at your table by traditionally dressed waiters. Our Tours included stops at Selaron and Santa Teresa plus the 3 main beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Conrado, all with plenty of time to enjoy these wonderful locations. Great value Tours. We have wonderful and lasting memories of Rio, enjoyed wonderful weather and cannot wait to return. Thank you to everyone at DoBrazilRight.

We were on a cruise ship traveling South America and stopped in eleven ports in Brazil. With many positive reviews and our concerns about safety of independent travel, we decided to sign up 8 tours including Rio Carnival and 2 Half-day private group tours in Rio de Janeiro. The owner, Marcelo, customizes each tour to fit our cruise schedule to show us the great cities. He was always available before I even book his tours and during the tours. He showed up at the Rio cruise port with his team of tour guides to greet us (easily over 200 of us) to ensure we have great tours. His guides are hand picked and everyone was professional and spoke excellent English . Don’t bother paying twice more for a ship’s excursion to see the carnival. We were in sector 9 open front box raw A - we could almost touch the parade performers and could see their face expressions.
We also took 2 half-day tour to see Christ Stature & Sugar Loaf Mountain with great Brazilian BBQ lunch on the first day and Ipanema Beach and Copacabana Beach on the second day. We were escorted to VIP entrance to skip long lines to get into train and rope way.
His website’s tour description is very clear what to expect. He has many pictures of the sites we visit.
All of his tour itineraries were carefully prepared - despite the two years of business closure due to the pandemic, he pulled off logistics to fulfill the demands.
I normally plan my own site seeing but this is a country I don’t speak their language and safety is a big concern. Every tour we took, it was well worth the cost.
I recommend his tours to everyone who visit Brazil!

A great tour company, we did a two day comprehensive Rio tour covering all highlights of Rio. The guide with perfect English and the excellent driver with a delicious lunch at the well known steak house, was just perfect for our itinerary. Marcelo’s detailed communication in organizing the tour several months in advance with each prompt response to all our email messages was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this company to anyone traveling to Rio, you won’t be disappointed.

DoBrazilRight arranged a 2-day tour of Rio for our cruise ship. There were 12 of us in the group, which they organized. They picked us up at the port. At the end of the 2nd day, they took those who were continuing on the cruise back to the ship and the rest of us to the airport. The guide, who spoke perfect English, was excellent. In two days we saw all the highlights of Rio. The tour included lunch both days and “skip the line” passes so we were able to maximize our time. Marcelo Zahar, the owner, was prompt in answering questions and communicating changes. Highly recommend DoBrazilRight for tours in Brazil.

My husband and I booked a Full-Day and Half-Day Private Rio Tour, Carnival Tickets, and Carnival shuttle with "Do Brazil Right". Marcelo quickly and patiently responded to our many questions and advised us on the best Carnival ticket location. The day our cruise ship arrived in Rio, Do Brazil Right took care of everything, from start to finish. This made the tours enjoyable, stress-free, and perfect. Our guide Vitor was excellent, as was our driver Alex. Vitor gave us an amazing, comprehensive tour of Rio. It was like having a relative in Rio! This has to be the best tour company ever!

Our private tour was a perfect way to fit all the sights of Rio into a day. Our guide and driver were excellent and the inside knowledge they had meant we were able to skip queues at all the major sites! Lunch was delicious at Botofogo and the day ended with sunset at copacabana. Shaun our guide knew so much about the city and made sure we were kept hydrated and comfortable at all times. He even treated us to festival decorations and fresh coconuts at the beach!
