I loved this tour but I chose it for a certain reason and it may not be for everybody. I am a huge WWII history buff so the chance the see the house that Joseph Stalin was born in was a huge plus. Uplistsikhe is fascinating if you like 3500 year old settlements and Borjomi, going to the Sulphur Baths, was very relaxing. If you are going to choose this tour for the same reasons that I did you will love it and my guide George was awesome!!

I am happy about my choice to go there. There were nice places to see, a bit of history from Gori, from cave Town, and well awaited moment to finally see an taste Borjomi natural mineral water. The guide was even more than excelent, we had lively discussions and he could provide lot of facts about places we visited. The driver was perfect. I do not regret anything.
Thanks for doing this job and for making tourists happy!

We booked a private full day trip to Borjomi, hot springs, Uplistsikhe cave town and Gori from Viator. The tour is well organized, they delivered what they have promised. The highlight of the day was our lunch in a local restaurant on our way from Gori to Borjomi. This is not a tourist place, but we have the best Georgian food we ever taste. It cost us GEL 35 for 4 people! A price of one person lunch in Tbilisi. Levan, our guide is knowledable and friendly. We are highly recommend this tour! 5 stars.

We had a marvelous Private full day trip to Borjomi, hot springs, Uplistsikhe cave town and Gori with Georgi and Mamuka. They treated us like great friends from the start and were incredibly generous with their time, knowledge, hospitality and love of Georgia. How can you not love starting off with breakfast at a wonderful pastry shop where we enjoyed lasagna and strawberry cream tarts! And then dinner in the mountains at a fabulous roadside barbeque place where we had shashlik fresh from the coals. Of course accompanied by chacha, young red wine.
I highly recommend Real Georgia Tours and this trip!!!

What an incredible trip! Also, an amazing value for what was included. As a general overview, we were promptly picked up at our hotel in a clean, new, safe car (I’ve had other experiences where “comfortable coach” was not as advertised, but these gents are first-class). Our first stop was to a cafe that was clearly a hangout for locals - in my book, this means flexible and good. The food did not disappoint. Our guide, George spoke great English, and explained what everything was. The rest of the day was planned, but flexible according to our preferences. We went to Gori to see the Stalin Museum, then continued to Uplistsike to see the ancient caves (and learned that 19th-century graffiti is prim and proper carvings . . . those hooligans), and continued on to Borjomi. We wanted to hike and go to the hot springs. The hike down was steep and my friend had a knee issue, so we used a gentle alternate route to head back out. On the way back to Tbilisi, George gave us the option of stopping for dinner at a roadside place he knew. Another home run! I can’t recommend this trip enough. What an incredible way to get out of town and see some of the most beautiful parts of Georgia.
