We want you to know every corner of Puerto Rico. For this reason, in this adventure, we will be visiting three different unique destinations on the north coast of the island. Will start knowing part of the karst area, the rock formations in this area have formed an unforgettable landscape toward the Atlantic Sea, here in addition to enjoying the stunning views you will have the opportunity to know part of the rich and abundant history of Puerto Rico. We will continue our journey to the mountain and we will be visiting one of the most impressive caves on the island. The visit will be carried out by experienced and informed guides to give you the best possible experience and finally, we will be going a little further into nature where will visit two waterfalls in the area where you can enjoy the rest of the day on the river. If weather conditions are dangerous will visit a natural spring instead.

This is an active tour with moderated physical activity needed and basic swimming skills.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Parque Nacional de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy
Explore one of the most impressive cave system in the Occidental area with a small group and private guide. Will start on a paved trail down into Cueva Clara, the trial is 0.9 miles through a beautiful sub tropical forest surrounded by lush vegetation and lime stone formations. Ones we arrive to the cave, will venture in to explore, admire and learn about its formations, ecosystem and history.
2. Rio Tanama
Cool down and enjoy our hidden waterfalls while river trekking into one of the karstic zone canyons. Once we complete a 15-minute hike through the water and beautiful rock formations, we will reach one of the most impressive waterfalls in the northern region. Once there, you will be able to swim, go under the waterfalls, and do some cliff jumping (all optional at the second waterfall). You will get wet and enter the water up to chest level (we provide life jackets). Important: If the weather does not make it safe for us to enter the water, we will go to a natural spring instead.
3. Cueva del Indio
Learn about the Taino Indian culture and history. Our experienced guides will help you explore the secret cave overlooking one of the most beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean in Puerto Rico known to be in the Caribbean to contain the most Tainos petroglyphs. Our hike will start along the beach up into the seven arches cliff on arenisca stone. Is important to wear sneakers or close shoes to be able to hike safely on this type of rock formation. Along the way will be able to see one of the most breath taking views on the north side. Ones at the entrance of the cueva del indio will be able to admire all the petroglyphs from above the cave opening. For our adrenaline seekers, with the help of your guides we can venture into a unique cave filled with wonders. Its important for travelers to have good balance walking on uneven surfaces.

Jose was an awesome tour guide. He was very patient, fun and a very good driver. Even though the rain did not allow us to enjoy the waterfalls, the cave tours was awesome and was definitely worth the money !

The sights were absolutely beautiful! Our main tour guide, Jose, was super knowledgeable & informative about everything on the tour along with subjects outside the tour which we definitely appreciated. Our other tour guide, Eduardo, was also very knowledgeable & very personable with everyone on the tour. The food was out of this world & truly local which is exactly what we were looking for! Definitely would recommend to anyone & we for sure would do it again.

Such and amazing experience. Gabo was the best tour guide - he was very passionate and knowledgeable. It rained and we were unable to visit the waterfall however the beach was phenomenal. We tried lunch at a different spot and the food was very authentic. Will be booking this excursion again!

The highlight of the tour was walking inside Camuy cave. Enrique made sure everyone was safe, he was attentive, and entertaining. I’d recommend if you want adventure this would be the tour to do.

Jose tour guide was beyond amazing . I came for the caves,beach, and waterfall but walked away with something greater and that’s the history. I appreciate our tour guide thinking of our safety first. He was so sincere and genuine which made the tour more enjoyable. This was my first tour and definitely money well spent. I will book again when I come back .

We had Enrique and Jose as our driver/guide. Both were friendly and knowledge. I really enjoyed the part where we picked up some local PR fruits along the trial down into Camuy Cave and tried them (pictured). Cave itself was pretty cool and was quite different than the other caves I've seen in my PR trip. Big shoutout to the lunch spot, was really affordable and delicious (It was our top 3 meals in PR).

Unfortunately we were not able to experience the waterfall adventure due to previous night's flash flood (not blaming the company as it's not their fault). We went to a near by beach after the Indian cave tour instead. I'd hope there was an option to possibly refund portion of the tour and allow us to go back early instead..

This tour was fantastic! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and engaging, providing insight information on the history of the caves. There is lots of hiking, but the views are worth it!

Really great tour, highly recommend. Jose was the ideal tour guide, friendly, funny, local. It’s a FULL day too - we were gone from 8:30 to 7 pm! So be sure to plan for a relaxed evening
