We want you to know every corner of Puerto Rico. For this reason, in this adventure, we will be visiting three different unique destinations on the north coast of the island. Will start knowing part of the karst area, the rock formations in this area have formed an unforgettable landscape toward the Atlantic Sea, here in addition to enjoying the stunning views you will have the opportunity to know part of the rich and abundant history of Puerto Rico. We will continue our journey to the mountain and we will be visiting one of the most impressive caves on the island. The visit will be carried out by experienced and informed guides to give you the best possible experience and finally, we will be going a little further into nature where will visit two waterfalls in the area where you can enjoy the rest of the day on the river. If weather conditions are dangerous will visit a natural spring instead.

This is an active tour with moderated physical activity needed and basic swimming skills.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Parque Nacional de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy
Explore one of the most impressive cave system in the Occidental area with a small group and private guide. Will start on a paved trail down into Cueva Clara, the trial is 0.9 miles through a beautiful sub tropical forest surrounded by lush vegetation and lime stone formations. Ones we arrive to the cave, will venture in to explore, admire and learn about its formations, ecosystem and history.
2. Rio Tanama
Cool down and enjoy our hidden waterfalls while river trekking into one of the karstic zone canyons. Once we complete a 15-minute hike through the water and beautiful rock formations, we will reach one of the most impressive waterfalls in the northern region. Once there, you will be able to swim, go under the waterfalls, and do some cliff jumping (all optional at the second waterfall). You will get wet and enter the water up to chest level (we provide life jackets). Important: If the weather does not make it safe for us to enter the water, we will go to a natural spring instead.
3. Cueva del Indio
Learn about the Taino Indian culture and history. Our experienced guides will help you explore the secret cave overlooking one of the most beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean in Puerto Rico known to be in the Caribbean to contain the most Tainos petroglyphs. Our hike will start along the beach up into the seven arches cliff on arenisca stone. Is important to wear sneakers or close shoes to be able to hike safely on this type of rock formation. Along the way will be able to see one of the most breath taking views on the north side. Ones at the entrance of the cueva del indio will be able to admire all the petroglyphs from above the cave opening. For our adrenaline seekers, with the help of your guides we can venture into a unique cave filled with wonders. Its important for travelers to have good balance walking on uneven surfaces.

Had a great time with my fiancé and the rest of the group. Enrique was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was doing good since it is a whole day excursion and it can be very tiring. You won’t regret booking this excursion, it is a must!

This tour is a must book.... We had a blast with Jose. The local food options were great we swam in the river hiked up the seven coves and experienced pure black in the caves.

We had an amazing time! Family of 6- kids ages 4, 7, 9. The views at the 7 arches are breath taking! Be prepared to hold onto those little ones though.

The beach that followed was so beautiful. The kids loved the shallow pool. Lunch was great! Our tour guide Gabriel helped us pick out some delish cuisine. And the caves were great fun! My kids loved walking through with the flash lights and seeing bats and other wild life. Would definitely do this again!

They supposed to pick up at 7:05, but showed up at 7:35 without any note until I contacted them. Went to cave, but not scheduled one, so it make another delay. Guide tried his best, but not my satisfaction. He cannot explain well enough with English, but Spanish, which I could not understand. Anyway we came back at 7 pm. It was scheduled back by 5 or 6pm. I will not choose this company again(due to lack of communication) if I am looking for other tour.

Jose was an awesome tour guide. He was very patient, fun and a very good driver. Even though the rain did not allow us to enjoy the waterfalls, the cave tours was awesome and was definitely worth the money !

The sights were absolutely beautiful! Our main tour guide, Jose, was super knowledgeable & informative about everything on the tour along with subjects outside the tour which we definitely appreciated. Our other tour guide, Eduardo, was also very knowledgeable & very personable with everyone on the tour. The food was out of this world & truly local which is exactly what we were looking for! Definitely would recommend to anyone & we for sure would do it again.

Such and amazing experience. Gabo was the best tour guide - he was very passionate and knowledgeable. It rained and we were unable to visit the waterfall however the beach was phenomenal. We tried lunch at a different spot and the food was very authentic. Will be booking this excursion again!
