The tour was good. We were in an air conditions van due to the weather. The guide should use a microphone. I was sitting in the back & couldn't hear what he was saying. Overall, I recommend this tour.

The guide did not have a microphone and he spoke mostly in Spanish. His English was difficult to understand. We felt we got very little historical information. The first shopping stop was a tourist trap type with high pressure jewelry salesmen or a bunch of typical tourist trap merchandise. The second stop was much nicer.

This excursion started out bad. Was told due to the weather we were going to be transported in an a/c van and not the double decker. The van a/c wasn't really working. Then we were over crowded on the van, which made it very uncomfortable. I wasn't really able to enjoy the tour do to me not being able to see what the host was talking about was only able to just listen! Overall for the price and the stops we made along the way made up for the inconvenience.

I think doing a private tour in future would be better as some people on tour were rushing saying it's boring, complaining making the operators felt threatened and rushed the rest of group to hurry, end there lunch and or shopping and get back on bus to move along. It's was during time they give you most on tour to move around freely shop tequila taste etc. Another thing is everyone didn't want to do the tequila tour so the rest of us were not allowed. The operator of tour said oir whole group had to be there and tour was to be before we all ventured around. The only experience we really got was photos and upon questioning since we were sitting in front got alot of historical culture breakdown of Mexico, the reason behind the art on residences, and closest to fans. Which learning from an operator young gentleman who was kind and very knowledgeable he who was in his 70 was my highlight!!!

It was ok. Not worth the money paid for. It was a good experience. I think we got ripped off on the chocolate tasting. Tony was a good tour guide though. I just wish we went to more places for the price we paid though. It should be $20 per person and an extra 5 or 10 for hotel pickup. It was very hot in the van.

The shopping part of the tour was disappointing. We thought we would be at a market with local vendors selling handmade items. Instead we stopped and a jewelry store/souvenirs shop at two different locations. The one locatio gave a brief explanation of the tequila making process (tequila museum that is one room and a 10 minute overview) and then we were able to do tastings. We stopped at a famous cacnun sign at the beach but the line was so long to get a picture we couldn't do it in the time allotted there. Each stop felt rushed. However the drivers amd tour guide were very nice.

Good experience if you’re looking to buy souvenirs from Mexico and just some shopping for key rings/ clothes before you go.
I think what could be improved is for the mercado 28 not to be confined in one store as it was overly priced, and visiting the actual mercado 28 and given enough time for this.
Chocolate tasting was nice. And there was brief history about Cancun from the tour guide, but if you’re looking for a more detailed history of Cancun this may not be ideal.
We did definitely like this tour as our main aim was to get souvenirs which we did. however as we wanted to go to the shops mentioned and get souvenirs etc.
Miguel was amazing, thank you for picking us up and dropping us off and informing us of different locations/ animals that are to be seen in Cancun. He was a very friendly and knowledgeable and funny. And also gave us a brief history of Cancun before the tour even started!
Because of the weather it wasn’t a tour bus. But we were happy with the AC bus.
Brief chocolate tasting which was nice as we got to try a few flavours.
