The best way to know the lagoon Bacalar is from sailing boat. Let us take you to the most beautiful place you dream of.
We will start from the marina, where the captain will give you safety instructions and give each member a lifejacket. When everyone is safely settled and instructed, the trip can begin! The first stop will be on the canals of pirates. After swimming we will sail south, where you will see the cenotes, which are part of the lagoon. There you will have plenty of time to swim, explore the surroundings and also refresh yourself with the local seasonal fruit, which will be served to you by the captain. The last stop will be at Isla de los pajaros, where you will be able to observe various species of birds. During the trip, the captain will explain to you about the ecosystem of the lagoon, cenotes and about the history of the town or give you a recommendation for best tacos in the town.
We will end the trip at the same place where it started.

Sail was stunning, guiders were very nice, helpful and kind. They are very good at english, finnaly talk to someone here :)

This trip was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. Julio was so cool and made us feel comfortable right away. He showed us all the beautiful spots around the lagoon and sprinkled in some history and facts.

Pros: 1 water, fruit plate, nice way to get out on beautiful bacalar waters, sails were up for part of tour, small group, cheaper than others
Cons: not 4hrs as described(I specifically booked the 3pm to be out at sunset but were done and docked in 3hrs), captain Costa was not very personable, didn't interact or engage much and seemed bothered by questions.
I would not choose this tour company again on future visits.

Fantastic Captain & Skipper; extremely knowledgeable, very friendly & cared that we were enjoying our time sailing. Provided loads of information about the lake, history of the area and cenotes.

What a wunderfull afternoon on the Laguna.
René was easy going, he adapted the trip to our wishes, offered us some beer and fruit. We felt save and relaxed on the boat because he was a good sailor.

What a fabulous way to see the beautiful lagoon of Bacalar and all its colors!
Emmanuel was easy to communicate with, met us on time and gave us options on how we would like our 4 hour tour to look.
I was very excited when we actually sailed as he visited the sails easily, adjusting from time to time as needed.
We took a little time to swim at the Pirates Cove and indulge in a mid bath!
We sailed South all the way down to the end of the lagoon and laid anchor to swim again. The colors were incredible.
Emmanuel thoughtfully had a platter of fruit waiting for us of fresh mangoes and pineapple after our swim.
We brought our beverages and some snacks aboard. He had a cooler with ice so our beverages stayed cool. He carefully ensured our belongings were tucked away and kept checking in with us that all was good.
We sailed back as the sun was setting and enjoyed the sound of the wind catching the sails.
Highly recommended to soak up the tranquility and beauty of Bacalar.

The tour was amazing, very well organized and Mario was very nice! It’s a great way to discover Bacalar, and the sailing boat is a big plus (much calmer than the motorboats). I would recommend it 100%
