Archery in itself is a fun sport and lots of people do it as a hobby. We have a large property here in Joshua Tree where you will have plenty of space to shoot arrows at very far distances if you'd like too. The archery range spans out to 100 feet. Hitting the targets is a bit tough at 100 feet but we recommend that you try just for fun. It's exciting hitting the target at a farther distance. You'll notice your accuracy will improve quickly and in 20 minutes or so and you will become a good archer before you know it. Doing archery with friends, companions, or family is a great experience to do while in Joshua Tree or Palm Springs or if you are just passing by and want to stop by for an hour and shoot some arrows, it's a fun unique activity that you probably won't do anywhere else. We have targets set up for you when you come along with lots of arrows to shoot and bows. All you have to do is show up. Our archery range is located in a beautiful and relaxing scenic setting. Was great for beginners and the instructor was very informative and made the experience engaging. He also gave us great recommendations for things to do/see in the area while we were in town. Remember to stay hydrated and ready for sun. Overall, very cool skill to learn!

We went twice with two different groups for yoga retreats. Frank was a great instructor and our groups had a great time! This is definitely something we will do again.

My group of friends and I did archery for a bachelor party and it was a great experience. It was the first time for many of us and we all had fun. I would definitely recommend especially since it is a private area and there was safety gear for precaution available.

Had the Best Time together doing something so unexpected in the desert! Thanks to Frank for a memorable part of our Joshua Tree experience. Got set up with our four buckets of arrows and gloves and had a quick instructional on how to load the bows and shoot! We even got to use the Compound Bow and that was super awesome and the kids, especially loved it! Highly recommended - reasonably priced activity, and so glad to have found this on TripAdvisor. Thanks, Frank again for the fun time.

To be clear, this is not in or near the Joshua Tree experience but was a fun activity for the kids in that it was something different to do. I just wish the instructor was more engaged with us and stayed with us to show us some games or friendly competitions or something. Don't get me wrong, he knew about the fine art of archery, but he spent maybe 10 minutes with us to show us how to operate the equipment and then we were on our own. That wasn't the experience we expected, but it was something to do. If you want to switch things up while you're out in JT, I would still give this a try.

We had a great time, the gentleman provided us with a quick short lesson, guided us for a few minutes and then left us alone and let us do our thing. He gave us helpful tips that made it much easier and an overall fun experience.

Frank was awesome, he went straight to teaching us and letting us go for it. The experience was a lot of fun, I went with my wife. We even had a chance to help him out and try out his paintball gun range. I would highly recommend this place and would go again if we had the chance. Thanks Frank!!!

Terrible experience because the instructor sucked. Didn’t know how to teach, was not helpful, nor was he patient. He was irritated and unprofessional from the very beginning. I wish I could get a refund! Made my partner feel
Uncomfortable and scared to mess up because of how condescending he was. This was our first time ruined because our instructor terrible attitude. Felt judged entire time 0/10.
