Tommy was an amazing host/cebador! Even though I've been drinking yerba mate on my own for a while, I got to learn so much from Tommy. He went through how/where mate is cultivated and harvested, where the tradition came from, and culture around drinking and sharing yerba mate, and most importantly how to prepare it on your own. The experience is totally worth it because you get to try different types...original and flavoured ones, and have some snacks to eat with it. It was a really casual atmosphere, and Tommy got to answer all the questions we had. It was a lot of fun, time went by so fast AND you get your own certificate in the end! Loved it overall!

We very much enjoyed the mate class! Tomi was a welcoming and engaging host. We learned so much about mate -- not only how to drink it, but also about its history and social importance. We can't wait to try the mate we brought home with friends!

My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. We learned how to make and drink mate and tasted many different varieties. Great thing to do when you are in Buenos Aires.

Great class with Tomi all about mate! Learned a lot about mate in this class…and got to taste several different ones to find my favorite blend. Definitely good information to know if you want to indulge in the mate experience! I highly recommend it!
