Our guide, Alex, was fantastic! The food stops were well chosen and the dishes delicious. The pace was delightfully moderate. Alex shared so much about the city beyond just the food. Highly recommend!

Alex our guide was nice, however the food on this tour is not that great. We started out with hotdogs! Please don't eat the whale offered.

The Viator description of this tour is grossly misleading. It doesn't mention the actual length of the food tour, which turned out to be six long hours, or the miles of walking. there was only 4 food tasting stops, which is fine, but having to walk around and around for over an hour between each tasting stop was very frustrating. At times we seemed to be going in circles because we would pass by the same streets, as if the tour guides were trying to waste time between stops. then at the final end of the tour, the guides just left us at the last tasting stop, and we had to make our way back to our hotel on our own, not knowing where we were or able to speak Norwegian. Overall this is an extremely bad tour, would not recommend.

Food tours are a favorite of my husband and mine. What feels so unlikely at first, that a group of strangers from around the world somehow become neighbors in an afternoon, happened again for us on this tour. Great food. Generous portions. Please note: a lot of walking, as in miles, maybe 4 miles? With hills. The rain was no match for us - all stops involved shelter and the sun came out midway. Thank you guides Mariana for your passion for food and Alex for your historic context. Recommended.

We were disappointed with this experience. We have booked several food walking tours in various countries through Viator previously and were always happy with them. The guide was friendly but had nothing to identify him as our guide. The directions to find the location could have been better. The hotdog place to start was very underwhelming. The Norwegian cider was actually from the UK and we had to sit outside in the rain for our final experience- not ideal.

This was a delightful tour! Our guide gave us history of several places and introduced us to many foods. He also provided tips on things to do, and was generous with his time. I very much enjoyed the walk!

What a great experience! Wonderful way to learn a bit about the foods of Norway. Personal favorites were the sausages and the waffles! The tour guide Kevin was excellent! He knew alot about the city and we really enjoyed the entire experience!

Our tour guide, Alex, was great and enjoyable to talk to. I enjoyed all of the good, except the hotdog which I felt was an anticlimactic start to the tour. Overall, I enjoyed the tour but was not blown away.

Fabulous way explore the traditional tastes of Oslo. Alex provided info on sights and food and Mariana’s culinary insights were enlightening. Thanks for proving breaks as needed and cater to my allegries. Alex went above and beyond to ensure that we experienced the final taste.
