Join a beautiful 2-hour sunset sailing trip off the coast of Barcelona with a very small group on a modern sailing boat. Enjoy the unique experience of sailing when it’s slowly gets dark and the sun colours everything red. Enjoy a fresh breeze, free drink and small snack, while taking in the skyline of Barcelona. Accompanied by interesting people from all over the world and your personal skipper, stop for a short swim and if you are lucky spot dolphins and whales.

From April till October the sensational sunset tour starts at 19.00 (07.00 pm). The rest of the year the tour will start earlier as the sun goes down earlier as well. Please contact us if you want to know the time table for a specific date.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Port Olimpic
Standing opposite the Vila Olímpica neighbourhood, it was built in 1990 during the redevelopment of this area of Barcelona. The marina was designed by the architects Oriol Bohigas, Josep Martorell, David Mackay and Albert Puigdomènech. The city needed a sports marina which would meet exacting standards, and it was the site of the sailing competitions during the 1992 Olympic Games. The marina has 756 berths for yachts and its entrance is visible from anywhere in Barcelona. The two skyscrapers on either side are the Mapfre Tower and the Hotel Arts, with Frank Gehry's spectacular goldfish sculpture at its base, and nearby, the Gran Casino de Barcelona. Lovers of water sports can go yachting or practise other types of sailing techniques here, and in the summertime, the beaches on either side of the marina – Somorrostro and Nova Icària – are the perfect place for sunbathing or for a cooling dip in the sea.
2. Gold Fish Sculpture (Escultura el Peix d'Or)
The Fish sculpture by the architect Frank Gehry, who won the Pritzker Prize in 1989, has become one of the symbols of post-Olympic Barcelona and looks as if it is bobbing along on the waters of the Mediterranean. The sunlight is reflected in the scales of this sculpture that presides over the waterfront of the Olympic Marina and Barcelona's beaches. In 1992, the pristine Olympic Barcelona was transforming its seafront. A new Olympic Marina was taking shape, presided over by its twin towers. On one side stood the Mapfre Tower; on the other was the Hotel Arts. Frank Gehry placed his fish sculpture at the foot of the hotel. The animal is 56 metres long and 35 metres high and seems to be longing to jump into the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
3. Mediterranean
The Mediterranean Sea is one of the world's most culturally important bodies of water and for centuries, it has been the home and primary source of food for millions of people.As a result of its location between Africa, Asia and Europe, it is a primary trade route. The water is stunningly blue and it's perfect for taking amazing photos!
4. Port Vell (Old Port)
Port Vell, literally in English "Old Harbor" is a waterfront harbor in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and part of the Port of Barcelona. It was built as part of an urban renewal program prior to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Before this, it was a run-down area of empty warehouses, railroad yards, and factories. 16 million people visit the complex each year It is now a focal point of the city and tourist attraction, containing the Maremàgnum (a mall containing shops, a multiplex cinema, bars and restaurants), IMAX Port Vell and Europe's largest aquarium containing 8000 fish and 11 sharks contained in 22 basins filled with six million litres (1.6 million US gallons) of seawater. A pedestrian walkway, Rambla de Mar, connects La Rambla to Port Vell It incorporates a swing bridge, in order to allow ships to enter and exit the harbour

I chose this one because of the limited number of people allowed. It was perfect. Luigi was the best skipper. He was kind, funny, and made us feel at home on the boat.

We had a fabulous time with Captain Luigi! He was fun. Our seas were a little rough but he gave us options to go out to the Med or a little in the Med, with time in calm bay. The snacks and drinks were endless!

This was a last minute decision to go on this tour and we are glad we went. The directions provided by the company were very specific and led us right to the boats. Our captain Maria was very capable and gave us a lot Information about Barcelona. We didn’t get to fully sail due to another passenger getting seasick but it was good to get out on the water. We would sail with Maria again!

One drawback, don’t come hungry because the snacks are just chips and crackers.

Marie was incredible! The trip was so relaxing and a very beautiful trip. The boat laid to the side and we just watched the sunset.

Unfortunately we had overcast and rainy evening. I was disappointed by the skipper of the boat. We did not provide any knowledge or details of what we saw as a sailed. He would answer questions we asked but never offered any convey. It made the trip feel awkward. The other family we sailed with had someone get sick many times and the skipper only helped by asking if they wanted water. The only sounds we listened to for most of the trip we of the man vomiting. The starting place was hard to find, directions could be better to understand that they have an actual business front, as there was no indication on the yacht that connected it to the name of the company. I liked the slboat and the amount of people on board. I would not sail with them again.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing sunset cruise in Barcelona with Captain Marie. She was welcoming and skilled, making us feel right at home. The views of the city and sea at sunset were breathtaking, and the provided drinks and snacks were a perfect touch. Captain Marie's hospitality made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!!

A great opportunity casually enjoy the evening in Barcelona. It is best to go with your loved one or with friends. This trip might be pretty romantic. With friends it is also cool. You can take great photos. We had a great skipper, Daniel. Attentive, caring & kind. I absolutely recommend this tour!

We had a great time! Luigi was super friendly and pleasant and made our private family tour on the occasion of my father's birthday a very pleasant and special experience. And his undeniable experience in sailing with a sailboat provided a lot of security to my entire family. He also personally resolved many doubts I had about sailing that he himself was telling me without even asking him, and he did it because he knew that I want to get the PER for sailing this year. Something that I was very grateful for showing interest. Without a doubt, it makes me want to learn to sail even more. An unbeatable experience, we will repeat.
