It was, in a word, amazing. Would do it again, you can see everything so clearly. There was no eruption, but then you can also fly. So you should definitely come back and do it again.

Four family members have just experienced an unforgettable Helisicily 30 minute flight up to, and around, the active volcano of Etna - Wow, wow, WOW! One of us was a bit nervous, and afterwards was relieved and full of praise how well MARCELLO flew the helicopter.
We look forward to coming back and flying the Etna and vineyard tour.
All of us would recommend HeliSicily for a fantastic trip.
There is no better way to get up close to an active volcano - it is worth the cost to see such fantastic views over and into Etna!!!

A flight scheduled for Tuesday June 4, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. canceled and postponed to Thursday 6 at 8:00 a.m. due to unfavorable weather.
The hostess was super nice. She did everything possible to give us an unforgettable excursion.

Three women, from three different generations (me, my mother and my daughter) set out to discover the wonderful Sicily and to complement it all I wanted to give a "special" gift to my mother - who is 85 years old - that is, a flyover over the Etna by helicopter! She didn't know anything, so imagine the surprise!
What to say? HELISICILY was fantastic: from the reception location (with very kind girls and welcome drinks) to the flight and after the flight... The highly experienced pilot Marcello did not shy away from telling a thousand pieces of information and curiosities about a special volcano during the route , alive, with clearly visible craters both active and not, and then the snow, the ski slopes, the lava, the vapors with as many as 200 different types of gas inside, in short, a truly UNFORGETTABLE dream!!! Marcello provided the explanation not only in English but also in Italian (especially for my mamy), something he wasn't required to do but which was really appreciated. Having had a simple, kind and very ironic person as a pilot further enriched this experience! I learned that beyond Etna, flights also cover different routes with both group and private flights (e.g. to Taormina, the islands, etc.), info to remember.
Furthermore, the setting of the heliport is made up of a large green area on which stands the "Land of Dreams", a country hotel and farmhouse, where you can stay and eat immersed in nature!
What can I say other than THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart and see you on the next adventure?
