We spent an absolutely fantastic day with Robert on a private tour with our group of 4, exploring the Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and other sites. The weather was pretty miserable, with lots of rain and wind, but that didn’t stop Robert from making sure we had an excellent time. He made a point of asking us what we wanted to see rather than setting a strict itinerary, and when it was clear that the weather wouldn’t allow for visiting the rope bridge as originally planned, he adjusted the itinerary and we stopped to explore the fascinating Bonamargy Friary instead.

Despite the rain (our true welcome to the country, we were told, since we’d been enjoying atypically sunny weather the previous few days), we were still able to visit many breathtaking sites along Giants Causeway and elsewhere, including a couple Games of Thrones sites for the fans in our group. We ate lunch at a great local spot, and the day was capped off by a whiskey tasting at the Old Bushmills Distillery. Throughout, Robert was funny, friendly, and educational, chatting easily about everything from entertainment to the history in the region.

This tour was definitely among the highlights of our trip, and I’d highly recommend touring with Robert if you have the opportunity. Thanks, Robert, for a terrific experience!

Seamus was the best host for the day, very knowledgeable on alll of the stops and he played an Irish story for my 5 year old son. The rope bridge was so beautiful, I highly recommend making the hike. We had all ages on the tour and there was something to accommodate everyone. We also went to a hidden waterfall with shamrocks. Worth every pound!

Awesome tour! Robert was waiting for us when we disembarked from the ship. We went to the rope bridge, Giants Causeway, and had a great local lunch. We wrapped up the tour with a stop at Bushmills Distillery for a tasting. Robert is a wealth of local knowledge and history and left us wanting to return soon!

Booking a private tour with Robert was the best decision we made and a definite highlight of our trip to Ireland! We thoroughly enjoyed the commentary as we travelled, finding Robert to be both extremely well informed and a wealth of entertaining anecdotes. Would highly recommend booking tours with Robert over a tour bus any day! We will be using his services again and sharing his info with family and friends for them to book as well. Thank you Robert!

Highly recommend the tour with Robert. He was professional, informative, hospitable and fun from the start. We were picked up at the airport with him digitally holding up our name. He worked with our schedule. We only had the day so we were excited to see what we could get in and we quickly realized Robert was the man to make that happen. He definitely is a elite professional private chauffeur. So much knowledge of Irelands history and the area. He would escort us to the area and let us go off and explore. I honestly couldn’t of hand picked someone better. I see how a day could of gone wrong with a driver who didn’t act with such care. He knew our time frame and gave us choices of how to fit things in or not. He had chips and water right when we needed it and we didn’t even expect this. When we said we wanted to do lunch he had the perfect place and went in and arranged a table for our family of 6. We felt blessed and privileged with Robert. With our time frame we had just enough time to go to Bushmill Distillery and with the Bushmill connections Robert has made through the years we had a whiskey tasting happening with the men who run it all at Bushmill. For our journey back we were spoiled with a Guinness in a glass. We just had such a glorious time! What a beautiful way to explore the Antrim coast. We really felt thought of and taken care of. I would definitely refer him to friends and family who decide to visit Northern Ireland. This definitely is a trip of good quality due to Robert.

During our trip to Belfast in November 2023, I had booked two private tours with Robert, from RM Executive Transport. We were a group of four adults, and the pricing for a private tour when shared between four people was comparable to a group tour, but far, far more enjoyable.

Robert was endlessly helpful with the planning and organising of our tours. Because they were private, he was happy to change his standard tour, which had quite a Game of Thrones theme, to something more suitable for us. For us, seeing coastal towns and in particular the Giant’s Causeway, was the highlight. We also wanted to see the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, but not actually cross it, due to time and leg injury issues.

Robert arranged the whole thing to perfection for us. He kept in constant contact with me, so I was never concerned about the day. He picked us up right on time at our hotel in a very comfortable large van. This meant that all four of us had a seat with a window for the sights and lots of space for all of our things.

Robert was a fount of knowledge about Northern Ireland, which is exactly what we wanted. We had lots of interesting discussions about all sorts of things during our day, which enhanced the experience markedly.

He started by taking us to the pretty town of Carnlough, then lots of driving along the sensational coastline and through other small towns. He drove us inland a bit. The autumn colours were incredible! I’ve never been to New England in the autumn, but I doubt it could beat this. We walked up to a lovely waterfall over the Glenariff River which we would never even have known about without Robert.

Next was a lookout near Ballycastle where we had the requested great views of the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge.

Finally came what we were was so excited for, the Giant’s Causeway. It was sunny and not even particularly cold, just slightly chilly. Perfect conditions. We all managed to walk the whole way down and back up, without making use of the bus. It was simply incredible, everything we’d hoped for.

Lunch was in the town of Bushmills, then we had a photo stop at Dunluce Castle as it was too late to tour it by then. We finished the day at Bushmills Distillery, reportedly the oldest one in Northern Ireland. We did a tasting of a number of Irish whiskies, which unfortunately I did not enjoy. Some of my companions certainly did though, so they were happy to finish what I could not!

Robert also had a surprise in the car of cans of Guiness for us all to try, again not to my taste but it certainly was to the two men in our group.

Robert dropped us back at our hotel after this wonderful day.

The next morning, he arrived again for our half day tour. We started with a visit to Stormont, which was closed so we could only take photographs from outside the gate.

The tour continued with visits to the murals, the Remembrance Garden and many other sites.

I highly recommend booking a private tour with RM Executive Transport during your visit to Belfast.

We had high expectations from this day tour and thanks to Robert, it exceeded expectations. He showed us all around the antrim coast, the Game of Thrones locations (it helped that he was a massive fan of the show too) and the Giant’s causeway. We stopped at a very nice place for snacks and lunch. Must recommend for everyone.

Robert was the absolute perfect guide up the Atrium coast. He was entertaining and knowledgeable and worked with us to make sure everything was checked off the wish list. If you’re a game of thrones fan, he’s the one to travel with hands down.

I can’t imagine there is a better way to see the coast. If you’re in the fence about the money for the private tour, rest assured that this is money more than well spent. Don’t bother with bus loads of people when you can take this tour at a very fair and comparable price with extreme comfort.

I was very happy with Robert as my driver and guide for the day. I got to experience the Antrim Coast and Ballintoy Harbour. We also visited the Bushmills distillery for a whisky tasting after a nice lunch. Robert gave me great advice on how to make the most of my visit to the Giant’s Causeway as well. It was a very enjoyable day and I highly recommend Robert for a private tour. I look forward to coming back to Ireland in the near future.
