We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it. Manuel was full of good information and a very safe driver. Some of the details in the posting were not entirely accurate, though. The tour lasted about 9 hours total, and we had to pay our own entrance fee to Mayapan (65 pesos). It is important to note, too, that lunch was AFTER three hours at the cenotes - we didn’t sit down to eat until 3:30pm. Very glad we packed some snacks!

This was a really amazing tour and our guide Victor was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area (and was very patient with my clumsiness). No pictures can do justice to the beautiful things we saw and experienced today, but I hope the few I attached to this review come close. This was a day to remember for sure.

I highly recommend the veggie salbutes and the chaya empanadas at the Santa Barbara restaurant, and I can honestly say it was the best meal my wife and I have shared in Mexico so far. The habanero salsa especially was super spicy and flavorful.

A few other notes:
- The tour is private. It was just Victor, my wife, and I today.
- Foreigners have to pay for entry to Mayapan, but it's very cheap.
- You can and should climb the pyramids at Mayapan.
- Be prepared to see SO MANY butterflies everywhere.
- The first cenote is a little more dark and claustrophobic.
- The second two cenotes are much brighter and bigger.
- Don't dive into a 60 foot deep cenote with your glasses on.
- Both gift shops are cash only, but the restaurant takes cards.

If you're in Merida, this tour is not to be missed!
