We were there in November. Saw a lot of Flamingos & storks. We were not allowed out of the vehicle at the park so small birds were harder to spot. Overall great, specially El Rocio town. A Spanish Western Town, great from a Texan point of view.

Very good day trip to get away from Seville and back to nature. We got to see lots of wildlife, as well as a variety of interesting landscapes including wetlands, woodland and sand dunes. The old town of El Rocio was also intersting. The tour guide Sergio was very friendly and informative.
Overall, a highly recommended tour.

Amazing Trip! It rained the day we went so made the experience more exciting.

You could smell Pine trees and Eucalyptus everywhere, it was so peaceful. The beach was really nice, shame we couldn't enjoy it because it rained. We didn't see the Iberia lynx due to the weather. I do the think price is quite heavy, but it's one of the few we found available so not much you can do with that. The tour guide was great too.

Very much enjoyed the National Park part of the tour. We drove in the large 4-wheel drive vehicle along the beach first. There were wild pigs and lots of interesting birds. We than visited some fishermen's houses and went into the woods. We saw some deer and wild pigs again. Then we drove through some interesting large sand dunes surrounding and covering up pine trees, while the guide explained how the dunes move across the landscape. I thought the park was fascinating for the flora and the fauna.

We then had lunch on our own at Matalascanas Beach which provided an opportunity to shop. Lunch was reasonable priced and good.

I was less interested iin El Rocio's church. The church is noted for a new large copy of a much smaller statue of the Virgin Mary found in a nearby field decades ago. The church is pretty, but not really remarkable.

This was an amazing small group trip, enjoyed by all, particularly my adult children. The national park tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and anxious to share his knowledge. We traveled through the mist and partial sun via a Jurassic Park-like four-wheel-drive vehicle, through the sand dunes to see ocean/river and forest, local color with the mussel fishermen and history. We saw lots of different birds and an amazing spider. Definitely off-the-beaten track and a break from city life. If you like the outdoors and are looking for something different, you will enjoy this tour. Our local tour guide was extremely helpful and attentive as well. I would have appreciated a little more background about El Rocio (although most likely, we could have specifically asked for this, but did not).
