A definite tour to book. Great guide (Carlos) who was well informed and interacted well with all members of the group. He made the tour interesting, with so many anecdotes and historical information.
I would suggest that the information regarding no headphones provided advise that if clients bring their own they must be wired. A couple of people in our groups brought Bluetooth headphones and therefore did not expect to have to buy headphones.

We had such a great day at the Alhambra with Andy (Hamde)! This man is extremely knowledgeable on so many levels. He was not only great in explaining the architecture and building processes, but what really tied the day together was how knowledgeable he was about the cultural dynamics of the time. His descriptions added so much color to the history, to the point where you could feel and see what it must have been like at the time.
In addition to his vast knowledge, he was just a kind and wonderful human. I watched him hug an older tour guide when they saw each other for what seemed like an eternity. You could tell that he was loved by so many of his peers. He not only helped our group with questions and accommodations, but he helped others out as well. Whether it was helping with a stroller up and down stairs, redirecting lost individuals, answering questions in several different languages, etc. he’s just a wonderful person.
Other than how fantastic Andy was, the tour itself was great. Well paced and a good balance of depth versus efficiency to accommodate all needs.

The Alhambra is absolutely amazing! The detail in the design and decoration of each palace is exquisite. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The sound system didn't work right at first, but we spoke up and our guide fixed it before the tour began.

Emilio gave my family and a few others a fantastic tour of The Alhambra. It was very detailed oriented, but not over the top. He ended the tour with local restaurant recommendations which was great too. We learned a lot and every family member enjoyed themselves (note the Alhambra is massive so there is a lot of walking!)

Our guide was called Alberto. As a family, we were really looking forward to the tour but it was very rushed. He spoke too fast as well. I asked him if he could slow down. He said yes but then carried on as usual. Half our family got lost in between and he didn’t even bother to wait for us or find out where we were. Never booking with this company again. Awful experience.

Literally the greatest tour we had during our trip in Spain. Our guide, Ruth, was incredible and made the tour so special. She truly paints a picture while explaining the history of the Alhambra. We were so engaged in her storytelling that it made the time fly. You really get so much more out of the tour with a guide, so we highly recommend having an actual guide rather than just relying on self-guided tours.
One note is that our tour start time was moved up an hour from 12 PM to 11 AM. While it does say in the fine print that the time can be changed with little notice, we honestly were not expecting it. Our train into Granada from Córdoba was scheduled to arrive at 11 AM, so we were forced to buy new train tickets in order to make the tour. Luckily, there was one earlier train, which arrived at 10:15 AM. Our hotel was located right next to the meeting point for the tour, so a taxi from the train station got us there just in time. New train tickets cost us an extra $100, but it was better than losing $270 for this tour. Our group was supposed to have around 20 people, but a group of ten didn’t show up (likely because the start time was moved up). So even if it cost us more money, this situation worked out in our favor because we had a much smaller group.
Highly recommend doing this tour, but make sure you allow time in case your start time gets changed.
