The tour will start picking you up from the dock or other places you arrive. We get the highway to Mont Etna first,Taormina after and Naxos +Castelmola at the end. Castelmola is a small and enchanting village just above Taormina, with an amazing landscape and a great view of Mount Etna (3.330 mt. – 11.000 ft. – the highest volcano in Europe), and wonderful landscape of Giardini-Naxos bay. We spend here few time to visit the places, then we drive 5 min down to Taormina, the ancient greek colony, with its amazing pedestrian path (the ancient roman “valeria” road), the greek theatre, the monuments, the shops, the famous restaurants and pubs and more else. You spend in Taormina 1 or 2 hours, as you like, then we drive back to Messina (or Catania) for a quick city tour. Then we will drive you to the dock or others places you prefer, in time for departure.

Wonderful, informative tour of Taormina and Castelmola. I had brief your from a cruise a few years ago and had no idea after that of the history and the many areas of Taormina.
Sandra was an excellent tour guide. Very engaged and informative.

We booked this tour and took a chance because there are no previous reviews. We were pleasantly surprised!! This tour turned to be one of our favorites! Our tour guide Luca was so knowledgeable about anything and everything, history, geology, etc. He took us to see all the sights and went out of his way to make sure my children were involved as well. He even taught them about the rocks at that volcano and picked rocks with them. He took us to a locals restaurant with a beautiful view and a courtyard in Tournina that looked like it was from a movie! We had such a great time with Luca. Do not hesitate and book this tour!
