This tour tells the story of Dublin by looking at and performing some of the street songs and folk ballads that have dotted its rich history.
It’s a journey through time where you will be taken from narrow medieval laneways to Georgian wine taverns, from Victorian cobblers to 20th century laureates.
You’ll laugh, you’ll sing and if the mood takes you, you might even catch yourself having a bit of a dance, yourself.

Dylan was our guide and he was awesome! Took time to go into detail and answered all our questions. He sang songs relevant to each stop on the tour while playing guitar. This experience is highly recommended. A highlight of our trip.

We really had a fine musician who was kind and friendly. The little tidbits of culture and history were good too. Got a feeling for Dublin. Might have liked just a few more facts.

Dylan was such a lovely tour guide, thoughtful, kind, inclusive to all the guests. His historical stories and perspective were very informative and interesting, and the songs that he chose for each stop were so well done, sung and played so beautifully. I said on the tour that I’d like all of my history lessons to be delivered musically! Highly recommend this tour and consider yourselves lucky if you get Dylan.

So much better than a regular walking tour. Shawn (Sean) was, not only a great musician, but also a fantastic historian with great stories that were both tragic and funny.

Sean was amazing! It was just my wife and myself and we had a great time exploring, hearing his stories, and listening to his songs! He has a great voice and a remarkable talent for music. He shared some spoken word poems and some folk songs, but our favorites were the native Irish language songs. He truly shared his love for music the entire tour and gave funny Irish anecdotes whenever given the chance. He also gave us food recommendations and dropped us off at a trad music session in Temple Bar. We’d recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Dublin!

An excellent tour with Sean, a very talented musician , singer and storyteller. We were a mixed age group and he kept us entertained from start to finish. Well worth it.
