1-Hour Bioluminescent Boat Tour in Mosquito Bay, Vieques

Nothing memorable about this place.
The only reason the whole family came to Vieques was to do the bioluminescent tour but they sent us a message canceling the tour the day we arrived saying we needed to contact the site were we purchased the tickets to claim our refund. We texted them back but we never got a response from them.
When I called the site they didn’t know anything about the cancellation and we had to wait until they contacted them to get approval for the refund. The whole thing ruined our experience and on top of that we have to wait a week to get a refund back on the credit card.

Don’t come to this place please!

Go to Jak’s instead. They were able to help us out with the last minute reservation for our group and were very helpful and professional.

Not like nenas island place !

Amazing experience! Guides were very knowledgeable. It rained on our tour and we were given rain jackets to use, which was so nice. Would recommend!

Our boat staff, Eddy and Angel, and our driver, Robert, were all very kind and helpful. Eddy was very knowledgeable about the bay and its biological components.

Loved playing in the water from the boat making sparkles ! Captain was very knowledgeable! Learned a lot from him about way more than just the bioluminescence.

Very educational, guide was funny, interactive, and very informed. Night sky was phenomenal. Try to go during a new moon, when it's pitch dark.

Just take a kayak. You will see much much more and not be moved up multiple hours while it’s not even dark

We booked a trip last minute on Viator and so glad we did! We wanted a boat vs. kayak tour and this was a great option. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the bay, the wildlife and fauna. His expertise helped us truly appreciate this natural wonder. Glad I wore good shoes since there was the getting on/off the van and boat to consider and we dressed for a warm climate. While the glow is not as dramatic as the pictures, the experience in nature under the stars was truly memorable.

Coolest experience of my life. Pictures don’t do it justice. I did not do the kayak but I personally feel like this gives you the better visibility of the two options. It was so cool to look down and see the water come to life with light. We got to see shadows of all types of fish BIG and small. Pick up was easy and the tour guides were awesome. So knowledgeable and funny. 10/10 will definitely book again!

The boat tour was very nice because we got a great overview from the captain. He was very knowledgeable. The entire tour went smoothly. The van driver could have been friendlier, chattier, as the van trip is somewhat harrowing. My only complaint is one person constantly had her phone on; very distracting and unnecessary and rude.
