Though it seems like magic, there’s a scientific explanation for the glowing blue that appears. Millions of microorganisms called dinoflagellates flock to the lagoon’s unique combination of mangroves and salt and fresh water. The lagoon is amazing! Check the moon phase before you go. The less light makes it even more enjoyable. Really a magnificent thing to see and you have to get in and try for yourself. One of the best times we had on our trip!
