Hiking Experience to Pedra do Telégrafo

This year has been the second time we've used Hikeinrio. The first time was in 2019. Unfortunately, we couldn't meet Ale back in 2019 because she got very sick. But She arranged everything for me and my fiance with Marcio who was amazing and we had a incredible experience. This year, we finally meet Ale. She is FANTASTIC! Everything about her is wonderful. Her professionalism, the positive vibes, flexibility, safety, the knowledge of the trails and history are outstanding. My fiancé and I had two amazing days hiking with Ale and everything went perfect. We went to Pedra do Telegrafo, Floresta da Tijuca e Rampa de Asa Delta. We loved the experiences. She is caring and passionate about what she does. I highly recommend HikeinRio.
Ale, thank you for everything. We will see you next year!

This was such an amazing experience!! It was about a mile walk up and a mile back down . It is a challenge but definitely worth it !! Our guide was soooo nice ! Please keep in mind it is a hike before the hike and you have the option to get a bike ride to the entrance for 15 Brazilian reels. I’m so glad I did because I probably wouldn’t have made it to the top nor the beginning of the hike . I’m so glad I did it! Such a beautiful sight

My husband and I were absolutely amazed at how amazingly beautifully this country is!! We went and saw the redeemer and the stairs! It was insanely busy but that didn’t take away from the beauty!

This was such a fun and unique experience! My wife and I love to hike and this was a great hike. It was steep early on but then not too difficult and the breathtaking views overlooking the water and mountains were definitely worth it. Plus we had to get the iconic photos! We went on a Monday morning and were the only people when we got there, so we are very glad we started at 5/6 am. Our guide helped us do such fun poses and the photographer there also had such great tips like tucking in a shirt or letting hair loose to make the photo look more epic. After the hike we also stopped at a few beach spots which were nice to see. Overall highly recommend!

Alli is a fantastic guide. She is very knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. My friend and I did two excursions with her: a hike through Tijuca, and Pedra do Telegrafo. I have a great fear of heights, but with her gentle prompting at the end of our hike through Tijuca, I agreed to try Pedra do Telegrafo with her and my friend. I would not have been able to do it without her help throughout. I am so grateful that I did. She was able to tell us about interesting things about the area and Rio in general. An excursion (or more!) with Alli is a must when visiting Rio!

Definitely would recommend going with Alli to anyone and going early (we left Copacabana around 5:30am for an hour drive and had the place to ourselves for a good peaceful and serene and no-rush photos for 30 minutes before the crowds came). Pretty chill hike up, and Alli is also an excellent photographer!

HIGH RECOMMENDATION! Everything went so well, we saw amazing views, Alessandra took stunning photos of us, she knew beautiful places to stop by and recommended and took us to have lunch at one of the most beautiful places we have ever been at!

How many people would say that the best day of their vacation started by waking up at 5 am? The truth is, any day you spend with Alli will be the best day of your vacation... and we managed to squeeze in two days during our week in Rio. In order to avoid the crowds, Alli encouraged us to meet at 6:30. And it was the right decision. In addition to being an awesome guide, Alli is a warm and thoughtful person. She was easily able to customize our trip to maximize our enjoyment; and she knew exactly how to take all the best jaw-dropping photos! (We only posted one of dozens of shots she air-dropped to us at the end of our time together). She speaks English almost as well as we did, and even took time to teach us some Portuguese phrases. Make sure you choose HikeInRio for your outdoor adventures!

I spent 2 days with Alessandra hiking in Tijuca National Forest and Pedra do Telegrafo. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about nature & the environment. Additionally, I felt like I was with a friend when we were together. Alessandra communicates really well and we talked about everything! She even gave me tips on restaurants, shops, and places to go during my time in Rio. Since I was the only person with her both days, she was able to customize both hikes a little. If you are looking for amazing photos, Alessandra has that covered! She took the best photos of me at Telegrafo Rock. Do yourself a favor and begin your time in Rio with her because I guarantee you will want to do every experience she provides!!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic hike with Alessandra. You can clearly see that she's passionate about it and very knowledgeable about Rio. Communication was fast and easy and Alessandra gave us a lot of info along the way. It's not that easy to meet up at 6.30am but you'll definitely forget it once you have the whole place for yourself at the top. The hike itself is not too long but it is a bit steep so get your knees ready. Alê also shared some tips on the best beaches in Barra da Tijuca. The experience was definitely worth it!
