Perito Moreno Glacier Kayak Tour including Transportation

I am a single traveller. When I booked this activity, the price was the same as two persons. However, the operator put me on a double kayak with another single traveller. It was unreasonable to charge me double unless I was put on a single or double kayak on my own or paddling with the guide. The operator argued that the price was for one person, by covering their eyes on the fact that it was equal to the price for 2 persons. This operator (Ripio Turismo or Miloutdoor) is not an honest company.

The company was professional and protective of their clients. UNfortunately, there will always be one or two CLIENTS who won't follow the rules endangering themselves because of their stupid actions. A couple did everything they were told not to do and eventually tipped over in the ice cold water. The rescue boat is a zodiac with a motor and had them out within 2 minutes. This famous glacier calves almost EVERY DAY MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY breaking off icebergs that can be the size of multi-story buildings. On top of that, the infamous Patagonia winds could kick up to 30 knots per hr. Imagine that pushing you towards the glacier and you don't have any experience paddling? I've been kayaking for decades and this was a great albeit short paddle. They provide everything you need: fantastic boats, paddles, dry suit and thermal underwear, boots. They even take many many pictures on their GoPros which are shared for free because NO cell phones are allowed. If you're taking selfies, you're not paying attention. What's so ridiculous was that the guy who tipped over actually thought he was "cool" that he did so! Take it from an experienced paddler: people who swim because of stupid actions are not respected nor are they cool. Don't be that person. Just go out there, paddle safely and have a great time. RESPECT YOUR GUIDES
