Koh Ker is an archaeological site located in the northern part of Cambodia, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) away from Siem Reap. It served as the capital of the Khmer Empire for a brief period in the 10th century AD, during the reign of King Jayavarman IV.

In recent years, efforts have been made to improve access to Koh Ker and to undertake restoration work to preserve its ancient structures for future generations to appreciate.

Beng Mealea is a temple located in the Angkor Archaeological Park in Cambodia. It is a largely unrestored temple that is partially reclaimed by the jungle, giving it a mysterious and atmospheric quality. The temple's architecture and layout are similar to the more famous Angkor Wat, and it is believed to have been built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Beng Mealea is known for its impressive stone carvings and intricate layout, making it a popular destination for tourists and history enthusiasts.
