Trip date- April 2024-Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Alessandra was prompt and communication was excellent. She shared lots of local knowledge about the area and even more about Mt. Etna! It was a perfect amount of time and a great way to see Mt. Etna and the Taormina coastline. Following the Etna tour we had lunch in a city park space that looked out to the sea. Lunch was great and made locally. Alessandra helped us with our order. We opted for local beer with our sandwiches for something different. From there we went to the marina to catch a boat. One other couple joined us there. Our captain was fabulous and a unique perspective of Taormina area from the sea. This is where we had our sparkling wine.

We had an amazing experience and highly recommend! We had our tour with Elena and cannot say enough how wonderful she was. She was so informative and attentive. The private tour is well worth it. After our volcano tour we had an enjoyable boat ride which was had amazing views!

We booked this tour after our amazing experience with this company and we are really glad we did! My husband and I have loved Mt. Etna, our guide Bruno was amazing. He shared very interesting information about the Volcano and the area and was very attentive. Etna landscapes are unforgettable! In the afternoon we had a boat tour around Giardini Naxos and Taormina bay, which was very relaxing. The panorama was absolutely beautiful. This is our second tour with Prestelli Sicily Tours and we will for sure choose the company for our future trips to Sicily. We really recommend!

My husband and I booked this tour on our honeymoon and we would highly recommend it. Mt Etna was absolutely breathtaking, something you can’t describe until you see it in person. It was an experience we’ll never forget. Alessandra was our guide and she was amazing! She taught us some great facts about Etna, took us to a cave and made our experience enjoyable. We also loved that this included a boat tour. It was fun being able to anchor the boat and swim for a little. This tour was the perfect amount of time to experience both Etna and the ocean. I also want to say Prestelli Tours was very helpful, communicative and quick to respond when we had to switch our date last minute due to weather. Thank you Presstelli and Alessandra for such a great experience!

Fantastic day from start to finish with Luigi on the Volcano to Sea tour. A great tour of Mt Etna craters with Luigi providing a ton of information....he knew everything about the area. Stopped to view some of the caves created by past eruptions, then a stop for honey, wine, olive oils and arancini at a great cafe.
On to Giardini Naxos for an wonderful boat ride in Taormina Bay. Close up view of Isola Bella, grottos, swam, drank prosecco....could not ask for more. Luigi was a fantastic guide....thanks so much for a great day!!

This was an excellent excursion! Going from the top of Mt. Etna then down to the sea for a cruise made for a very fun day. We even made stops in small downs around Etna to have a Sicilian lunch and check out some Etna specialities like honey, wine and olive oil. Our guide Maurizio was highly knowledgeable about the area because he grew up there. He took care of us from the moment he picked us up at the hotel until he dropped us off. It’s a long day, lasted around 8 hours, but very worth it. Highly recommend!

Samuela was our private driver and guide - and she is amazing! She picked us up at our B&B on time (actually she was a bit early and waiting to greet us). On the drive to Mt. Etna she provided us some outstanding history of Mt Etna and what we could expect to see once we arrived on-site. This tour was ~ 7 hours in length with plenty of driving. Samuela is a safe driver and I felt comfortable as a passenger. The Sicily roads can be very challenging, and exciting. Our tour included a stop at a honey shop where we sampled several flavors of honey, tasted local wines and several flavors of olive oil. On Mt. Etna, Samuela again explained the history and special aspects surrounding Mt. Etna. She is extremely knowledgeable in this area. All day, she ensured we were informed, educated and comfortable. I would highly recommend we tour and Samuela as your private driver/guide.

The boat was a nice part of the tour to see the coastline, but the Mt Etna tour with Elena was really something special. She was a great guide and very knowledgeable of the volcano and the towns surrounding it. We stopped along the way for arancini, tried some local honey and ended up buying a bunch of small jars, and even had a little time to stop and try some wine at a winery on the north east slope of the volcano. This was a great way to spend the day in Taormina, and walking on the volcano was incredible.
