We had a blast reef fishing with an outside shot at a pelagic catch. Lots of fun being out on the ocean (out 1mi+!) in the kayaks.
I brought my 10 year old son - we shared a kayak and had a great time. We met on the beach and launched around 7am. Paddled out and fished several different spots until about 11am. The kayaks use foot pedals which will give you a bit of a workout if it’s windy, but not in a bad way. I loved the fact that we were fishing with the guide but, because we were in our own kayak, we got to bait our own hooks, land fish, etc. Super unique experience. So glad we did it.

My top activity I've done in Maui! Tons of action with fish, caught fish to take home and eat, and great service. Was a very positive experience that I would 100% recommend.

This experience was great! I will definitely do this again when I’m back on the island. We caught several different species and our guide was very knowledgeable.

Very unique and fun experience fishing the ocean in kayaks. Our guide La was really knowledgeable and made it fun. My son caught an octopus which was the highlight.

Justin was so patient with us with getting our lines unstuck on the corals. Took us to various parts to catch fish. He was so personable. Thank you for being our guide.

The most amazing day out on the water! We caught lots of fish and saw all sorts of marine life. Our guide La was the best! Amazing knowledge of the land and sea. The Kayaks and fishing gear were top of the line! A must do when visiting Maui!

My wife and I did this kayak fishing excursion during our stay in Maui and we would highly recommend. We met in the morning and were introduced to our guide, Justin. We were the only two clients this particular day. Justin did a great job teaching and getting us comfortable on the kayak. The kayaks were incredibly nice and easy to use (no paddling!). Just being on the water and the views alone are an experience in and of itself. Justin was able to navigate us to ideal fishing spots and we had fairly consistent action. Justin was great at keeping the lines untangled, baited, and ensuring we were able to maximize the fishing time. We mostly caught smaller reef fish, but did catch a larger grouper as well. We also listened to music and enjoyed a couple beverages while we were out on the water. All in all we were very pleased and would encourage anyone thinking about this to go for it.

Had a great time on this half-day bottom fishing tour. Guide was super knowledgeable, helpful, and laid-back. Covered quite a bit of ground, saw all sorts of whales & other sea life, and caught dinner!

First let me say our guide although very friendly and likable and was not prepared to fish. He was handing out poles with lines that were knotted was in no kind of rush to help or fix a situation that was going bad and ran out of bait and told us he had 2 dead ones left that we could use but he knew wouldn’t catch a fish. So because of this tried to end our tour an hour early! We said we still wanted to stay out ONLY because of what we did enjoy and that was seeing many whales. If this was a kayak whale watching tour it would have been a five star experience but it was booked and paid for because we wanted to fish ( between 6 people one small fish was caught) .
