This tour, accompanied by our expert guides, begins in an emblematic place: Monserrate hill. You will climb to more than 3100 m high and you will see the beautiful Basilica of Monserrate and the best panoramic image of the city.

You will then go to the Gold Museum, you will learn about a collection of gold pieces and their history in Colombia and the relationship with the Muisca culture that also give rise to the legend of El Dorado.

This trip is made in the Candelaria neighborhood, you will arrive at two unmissable places, the Botero Museum, named in honor of the renowned Colombian painter Fernando Botero; and the Plaza de Bolívar, where the Palace of Justice, the presidential palace, the mayor's office, the Primada Cathedral, and more are located!

Finally, you will walk to the area called Chorro de Quevedo to learn about different traditions that mix between the new generations and the past.

What an absolutely wonderful day with Daniel! The day could not have been better. Monserrate, las plazas, el Museo de Oro- Daniel is extremely knowledgeable about his country and its history. I especially appreciated his respect for the indigenous people of Colombia.

We visited most all of the sites on the scheduled tour, but he also took me to get a few special items I asked about. He helped me find the beat prices, bartered for me, and said it made him happy to make the day just what I wanted. I cannot imagine a better way to get to know Bogota or one of its gems (Daniel!)

Jonny did a fantastic job showing me around Bogota! Monserrate was an absolute highlight … the ride with the funicular and the views are just amazing! Jonny was super accommodating, friendly, knowledgable, and flexible (e.g., Columbian coffee instead of a snack). I can highly recommend this tour to everyone short on time who wants to get an overview of Bogota‘s highlights!

Laura was amazing. I was supposed to go with my husband but ended up being alone. Two museums and Laura was very flexibles with many stops for coffee and plazas. The city is Very safe and Laura is very knowledgeable. On time, super friendly staff, extremely respectful. I want to do it again 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
