My partner and I had the most wonderful two days trekking and 1 night with this beautiful family. We felt so welcomed and comfortable in their lovely homestay. The room was gorgeous, with lovely traditional bedcovers and decorations and a modern bathroom with hot shower. The evening meal was delicious and we got to share it with all of Su's family which was lovely. We also spend two days trekking with Sung, which was an absolutely unforgettably beautiful experience! Such a lovely family and we would definitely recommend them! ❤️

What an amazing family to have experienced trekking in Sapa with ! May and her mother were absolutely wonderful tour guides, and treated us to the most wonderful bungalow and home cooked food. They were so sweet and were also there to help no matter what we needed, and taught us so much about the mountains and their customs. They even gave us a bag of rice to take home with us at the end because we told them how much we had enjoyed it. Thank you to the whole family !

We stayed 1 night and it was a fantastic experience in an extremely characteristic context. Mrs Sue hosted us with affection and care and always made sure we had everything we needed. The location is remote and suitable for a Spartan experience. The beds are comfortable and spacious, and despite the cold of the place in February, the blankets are heavy and warm. Breakfast is mainly banana-based but it is plentiful. There are numerous bathrooms, all well stocked and functioning, and all other services are present.

We spent two days and in both of them Sue took us trekking among the rice fields.

I strongly recommend this experience and look forward to seeing Sue again in the future.

The scenery along the road is very beautiful. Even if the weather is bad, it has a different feeling and I took a lot of photos.

Ms.Sue is so passionate and she is so good as a tour guide! We had a good time in her homestay with delicious Hmong food.
I hope everyone come to her homestay, enjoy the Hmong culture in Ta Van village, and she can take you trekking tour to other villages:)

Sue was amazing! We booked a 4-hr tour and she was super accommodating of our abilities, footwear and the weather. It was very slippery and muddy so we did the “easy” route which was on mostly paved ( still wet and muddy) but easier to walk through. There were still some steep ups and downs but nothing that made us feel unsafe in regular running shoes.

The views and terrain were stunning and had a mystical quality. She never rushed us or made us feel uncomfortable. At the end we stopped at a very beautiful cafe for coffee and she was so open to talk about Hmong culture and experience.

We felt hugely supported and engaged throughout. Highly recommend even if the weather is wet and you are not super experienced!

My partner and I went on a day trek with Sue and stayed at her homestay for 2 nights. Sue was fantastic, hospitable, friendly and a knowledgeable guide. She gave us options of different routes to take for the hike and knew all of the best spots to stop and take in the views. We would highly recommend trekking and staying with indigo and Sue, it has been a highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

Today we did an individual trek through bamboo forests and rice terraces to a waterfall and it was beautiful. Our guide adapted the route to our needs and chose a very beautiful path. She took regular breaks and showed us the most beautiful views and took photos of us. She answered our questions about the surroundings. The lunch offered in the village was very tasty and could be chosen according to taste. It was nice and quiet there and we were able to eat relaxed away from the tourist crowds. We would recommend the trekking offer to anyone and had a great day :)
PS: Don't forget mosquito spray and make sure you wear sturdy shoes and long trousers ;)

This was a great experience, sue is a true local of 6+ generations, so walking through the villages was really unique. We stopped at all the local authentic fabric makers and a farm, and the views were incredible.

We saw a bunch of other tours sticking to the main roads with guides obviously not locals, while sue took us on little back roads and gave us the real local vibe.

Definitely would recommend this and the home stay as well, a really great experience
