After 5 port excursions, this was our favorite so far. Marilena picked us up right on time. She spoke excellent English and knew the best places to take us, avoiding the large crowds. We highly recommend this way to see the local attractions.

We were picked up directly at the cruise port by Mr. Stamos after he had contacted us again via WhatsApp the day before. The trip to Olympia was very friendly, courteous and very informative. There he drove us to the museum against the flow of tourists, provided us with drinks and gave us plenty of time in the museum and on the ancient site. He picked us up at the next museum by car and gave us plenty of time there too. For food and wine he chose a typical Greek tavern with very tasty food at reasonable prices.
All in all a very successful trip, highly recommended

Marlena is an excellent guide giving us a pleasant feel of life in Olympia Greece. She is a safe driver and is able to comment and share extensively about liefstyle, history, commerce, schools, food, crops, etc… we are very interested in the way people live and work when we visit a new place. We were the first at the Olympia archeological museum which was super nice ! Try the Greek yogurt with honey and currants at the snack bar. The layout of the museum is very well done. All history and no pomp and circumstance of the modern games so it’s not over commercialized at all. In fact, I do not remember even seeing the Olympic rings symbol. The sanctuary site is vast and Marlena gave us a book that showed the then and now of the ruins- what it use to look like (possibly) Then she took us to a very classy olive press where we spent about 30 minutes- including a nice tasting. Then we made a pharmacy pit stop where Marlena was very helpful. Then to a beach about 10 min from the port. She arranged for us to have food and beer on the beach - umbrella and chairs. It was a small area but just enough for us. She drove us way up to the ship so we saved at least 30 min walk like the others had. We did see the little train/tram that went from the port to the beach but we enjoyed our Mercedes taxi 100x more. It was suppose to be a 3 hour tour but it was way more and we tipped her accordingly.

We had the best day with Andreas! He was very informative. We started early at Ancient Olympia which was amazing. Then, Andreas recommended we see an Olive Oil mill which was so much fun! After that, we did wine tasting at the winery which we enjoyed very much!! Andreas let us decide our day. Our 20 something year old kids said it was one of the best days that they had on our entire trip! We highly recommend!

Our guide was extremely professional and kind. Great with little kids! She was so attentive to my rambunctious 3 year old, it was very heartwarming. She has vast knowledge of the town and was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this company to any and all.

We really enjoyed this trip. Our driver was prompt and courteous. This was a private excursion and we were picked up just outside our cruise ship. We were picked up in a four dour sedan taxi. It was a tight fit and we are average sized adults. The ancient Olympia site is a bit of a drive from the cruise ship port and we were a little nervous enroute because the scenery was a bit underwhelming to say the least but it was well worth the drive. Our driver dropped us off at the entrance after assisting with purchasing our tickets (additional cost) and we were able to explore the site and museum on our own. He did provide us a small book with pictures to help us understand what we were seeing as he did not go into the site with us. We actually enjoyed the musuem more than the site itself. We then had the option of going to the winery (additional cost), a honey farm (additional cost) and/or an olive oil mill (no additional cost). We chose the honey farm and olive oil mill just based on the fact that we are not wine drinkers. Both locations were great and we were given a tour/demonstration/brief description of how they work. We ended up bringing home both honey and olive oil. We were disappointed about not going to a beach as this is one of the destinations in the actual Viator title but due to traveling in late October the beaches were closed for the season. However, the other options we were given were very interesting and enjoyable and more than made up for it. Our group also had lunch at a local restaurant with Greek food at our own expense. It was nice to have outdoor seating within walking distance to many shops to grab some additional souvineers after lunch. The only negative about this experience is you are basically just paying for a driver as he just transported us to each location and dropped us off. He was very polite and answered any questions we had and we had no problems on this tour. There should be a disclaimer in the description of this tour related to the beaches only being open seasonally.

The people where friendly and glad to have us visit. The olive oil plant was very interesting and the olive oil was great. The Olympic village was fascinating.

Christoff was an excellent accompaniment to our day in Olympia. We navigated through the ancient sites and then had a lovely experience with the honey farm. A nice lunch at a roadside restaurant rounded out our day. All in all tops!
