You will have the opportunity to visit all the different monuments and attractions in the heart of Piazza del Duomo with our expert guides of Florence. What makes us different? We enjoyed our personal tour with our knowledgeable guide, Giacomo. He was able to tell us about the Cathedral's history and the significance of its art in a passionate way. Sadly, the Baptistry was closed but Giacomo was able to give us an appreciation of its importance. A highlight was seeing the preserved doors of the Baptistry and climbing the hundreds of steps to the top of Bruneschelli's dome.

Our guide, was amazing. So much energy, enthusiasm and knowledge.
This was our 4th time in Florence. We had never been inside the Baptistery, it didn’t disappoint .
It is really worth the extra money to do private tours. You get much more out of the experience.

Booked the day before, received confirmation, and adjusted train tickets to Venice to go on this tour before we left Florence. The guide never showed up. No response to my written messages before hand. Once we spoke with the company they said they weren’t receiving messages from Viator. Maybe a technical issue. But no apology from Viator or the tour company. Just a lost morning trying to figure the mess out. Definitely get a second confirmation and use this service with caution.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Duomo complex and the original treasures in the museum. My brother was able to climb the dome with the guide on this tour. Highly recommend.

Norie, our guide, was bij far, the best guide of all visits we made in Florence.
She was perfect organized and her comments were brief and yet complete.
Just interesting. She spoke dutch very well and was very friendly and occurring.
The perfect guide.

We had such a short time in Florence, we decided to maximize our time by joining this tour of the Doumo and the surrounding buildings. It was wonderful! We loved our guide, Giovanna, and we learned so much that we wouldn't have known about without her. If you are pressed for time or just don't like to wait in lines; I'd highly encourage this tour! We do have to get back and spend more time in Florence next time!

Giacomo was very knowledgeable in much of the history of Florence, and Italy.
Susanna was also very helpful. They were both fun, charming Italians.
They have someone making a line so its an extra bonus, within "skip the line".
I would recommend booking with this company.

This tour was scheduled to start at 11:00am, infortunately our pre-booked transport to Florence - Pisa from La Spitzia cruise Terminal decided to completely shift around the promised itinerary without notice to the customers and without convincing explanation (we received 3 different non-credible explanations). So we were transported to Pisa in the morning instead to Florence as it had been promised upon booking. We thought our excursion to the Samra Maria del Fiore was lost along with the money paid. But, Jacomo emerged in the afternoon when we were finally transported to Florence and was able to get us through line ups and security personnel to complete our excursion of the Dome as we had envisioned. Jacommo isn't only a very knowledgeable and intelligent guide, he is also a real pleasure to deal with and I suspect he is also a great human being. Thanks Jacommo on behalf of my family for rescuing what was left of our best planning that day. We were not so lucky with our pre-paid excursion of the leaning tower of pisa where we arrived in the morning instead of in the afternoon as it had been promised by the transportation company.
