James was awesome. Fabulous knowledge of Yellowstones ecology, history and wildlife. Just a great personable host. We all commented after the day we don’t know what could have made it any better.

What an amazing tour! Shane was our tour guide and seriously the highlight of our trip. Not only was he very knowledgeable of everything we saw in the park, but he kept it fun and engaging even for the little ones. My kids loved him! He knew all the great spots to see wildlife and there wasn’t a question he wasn’t able to answer.
Because of our timing, we had to book the other loop on a different day with a different, well reviewed touring company, and the entire time all we said was “I wish we had booked this with Yellowstone Day Tours”. It really did not compare at all. The quality of the van, the provided lunch, tons of water, and binoculars for each person really made a huge difference and again, Shane’s personality made the day fly by. The other tour company didn’t provide any of it and it was just as expensive. Do yourself a favor… don’t book with anyone else.
