The lavender fields were amazing to see, too bad the weather was cloudy.
The guide was great but would be even better if we could stayed a bit longer at each lavender fields.

I enjoyed seeing the lavender fields but we were not told in advance that we would be visiting a small village in the mountains or going to a lake. Therefore none is us brought our swimming costumes but the guide went swimming herself for an hour! I also have mobility problems so I could not access the village and had to grab the first chair I saw and stay there for the two hours which was boring. I think each tour should have mobility ratings

THIS TRIP NEVER HAPPENED! We called a taxi to take us to the meeting point at 8am and it never arrived! At 845 am we called an Uber…same, never arrived! We tried to call Viator to tell them we were experiencing these issues and all the recording said was “We’re sorry.” The tour operator called us at 915 am asking where we were and I told her what was happening. She said “the driver is leaving now.” I asked if the driver could pick us up on the way out and she did NOT answer the question! She only repeated herself saying “The driver is leaving now!” I told her I wanted a refund and I got a message from Viator saying “There is no refund!” So I have to pay for other people’s incompetence????! Viator seems to think so! For our next Europe vacation we WILL NOT be choosing Viator and we will be sure to let our travel magazine in our state know this is how Viator does business!

What an amazing trip, weather was perfect, lavendin in full bloom. We had a visit to the lavender field follow up by a tasting of products. Then lunch in a super charming village and ended our tour with a swim in the lake. Just perfect. Our guide Ysaline is super nice, especially when she played Mylene Farmer in the car on the way back to Marseille ;)
10 out of 10

Seeing the field after field of lavender for miles was an experience you shouldn't miss. This tour gave us it in spades. Our guide, Morgane, was great- giving background information, taking us to the best (often the least crowded) fields, and trying to insure we had a good time. The stop at a producer was informative and gave us the ability to buy lavender products no usually available in the cities. The stop at Moustiers-Sainte-Marie was an excellent ending to the day. The little village perched up in the 'mountains' was a joy to explore. The only thing wrong was that we didn't have enough time to explore it. I would delete the stop at the lake at Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon to give more time as there wasn't much there to see.
The only caution I would give is to check when the lavender fields are in bloom as it's only a short time in June-July.

A great experience.
We went on our tour in early July, so were very lucky to catch the lavender fields just before harvest - incredible!
The town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is ripped out of a storybook…a highlight for us! Catch lunch at cascade for an ethereal ambiance.
The lake is gorgeous, but we weren’t prepared to swim.
⚠️ Recommend bringing a towel, bathing suit and dry change of clothes for the ride back to Marseille.

Had a lovely day...out guide Coline was excellent...
We went to a place where we could of had a swim but none of us had our swimsuits so I think ppl should be advised to bring along a towel and swimsuit....the scenery was mind-blowing, I would recommend this tour....

The ride itself took us through amazing landscapes dotted with villages, pastures, mountains and, of course, lavender fields! We stopped at two fields for pictures and at a shop that allowed taste testing of olive oils and jam. I had a lavender syrup drink that was so good I had another. Every stop was magical! Thanks to Morgane for her friendliness and invaluable knowledge.
