This tour with Mike was the highlight of our short trip to Crete. I was travelling with my 16 year old son and we both loved every part of the tour. The food, the villages, and Mike's fantastic storytelling and gift for passing on his love of the local flora were all especially memorable. Can't recommend this highly enough!

Mike went above and beyond on our tour. I loved the information he provided about the history of each place we visited and gave us the time to explore. We were never rushed…something other tours often do. Each place we visited was amazing and the Cretan restaurant had a view that was only outdone by the delicious food! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a personal, private tour of some amazing places in Crete.

This tour was INCREDIBLE, my wife and I ahve done several tour through Viator, and this one was by far top notch out of all of them. For our limited time we had in Crete, Mike took us all around to what felt like all of the hot spots that Crete has to offer. Mike was so knowledgeable about each stop and gave us a full history lesson at each spot. We could not recommend this tour enough!

The chance we had to do the trip with the two of us because of the changes of plans of the other family. We felt priviliged. Mike was a fantastic guide with an excellent knowledge of the Island.

Had A GREAT TIME with Mike, our guide and all the sights and information he gave us. It was so fun to see so much of the area east of Herkalon and in some of the mountains. It was cooler that day though and some rain so the views not as clear as they might've been w/o the clouds. However, our group was fun and neither my friend nor I were able to go up the really steep incline at Zeus' Cave (I got 1/3 of the way up and my left muscle started hurting from a previous incident on the 15th) but did enjoy having gelato and just hanging out below. LOVED the stop at the Olive Press and the old and new processes and that ALL parts of the olive trees and olive are used and that olive trees last SO MANY YEARS!!!! I would recommend this to everyone and our guide, Mike as well.

Highly recommend! First off, our guide was awesome. In my opinion, he went above and beyond but I'll get to that later. Clean comfortable vehicle and a smooth driver, took us everywhere expected. He explained in detail, the countryside, the history throughout the ages and culture. Answered any questions we had and can speak multiple languages better than I manage one at times. We never felt rushed and were given options on how we wanted to spend our time at the different destinations. Venetian windmills are different from the rest that you see and there is one that you can go into. We had our meal at that location and it was delicious. I finally got to try Moussaka fresh out of the stone oven. Oh ya, when all was done and we were dropped off, I realized at the hotel that I was missing my phone. Got ahold of the tour contact who asked the driver about it. 10 minutes later, he had it dropped off at the hotel. Thank you.
